You quickly dial Taylor's number. It rings and goes to voice mail. You call again and then there is a "Hello?"
"Oh my god, Taylor!" You exclaim. "You okay? You didn't answer the first couple of times I called!"
You hear a chuckle at the other end of the phone. "Yeah, sorry about that." She apologized. "I was driving home when the Particle Accelerator I guess exploded, and there was this wall of light or something and the cars like swerved and I crashed... And now I am in the hospital. What luck." She sounded serious. She sounded weak, like Kyle.
You sigh and chuckle.
"At least your alive." You say. "Well, I was just checking in. You get some rest."
"Okay, say hi to Kyle for me... If you haven't already."
"Alright. Bye."
"Bye." And she hung up. You walk back into the room. Kyle looked tired and looked bad. He smiled halfway and looked away.
"Kyle you look tired go to bed."
"Nah, I'm fine."
"No you're in the hospital... Get some rest."
"Fine, Mom."
You smile as you help Kyle put down the top of his bed and resituate his covers. You start to walk out when you remember.
"Tay says hi, by the way."
