"(y/n)?" you stop in your tracks, and turn towards him. He smiled, it looked like he was happy to see you.
"Hey Barry," you say. You start to walk to him. "How are you? I heard you were in the hospital for a bit."
"Yeah I'm good," Barry shrugged. He starts to say something else, but the girl came back.
"We ready?" She says. "Oh, hi, I don't think I have met you before? You a friend of Barry's?"
"You could consider me that." You say. "I'm (y/n)."
"Iris," she says holding out her hand. You shook it. You turn to Barry.
"Well I got to go, I have something to get to, it was great seeing you again." You turn to Iris. "It was nice meeting you." You wave as you walk away.
"Bye, nice meeting you too," Iris says.
"Bye (y/n)..." Barry says, waving his hand once.
You walk out of CC Jitters and take a cab back to your hotel. Where you flop on your bed and close your eyes and sigh.
Quietly laughing to yourself because you thought that maybe you could slip past him without him noticing, and avoiding an awkward conversation.
