Teanna smiled with satisfaction as she sat on the edge of her fiancé's bed in a pair of his grey Golden State sweatpants and a white t-shirt. She was holding his Valentine's Day love letter that he'd written and left for her to read in the morning, which had been a tradition for all three years of their relationship. Absentmindedly, her left hand fiddled with the engagement ring he'd given her at this time last year as her heart continued to grow from her reading of this letter.

Steph had always been a romantic, and Teanna loved that about him. She always felt loved in the most unexpected of ways, and it is for that reason that she never doubted their relationship.

Unlike many flashy relationships that typically include a NBA player, Teanna mostly loved that Steph desired to live as normal of a life as possible. It probably helped that Teanna was about as normal as they come.

Growing up in a modest home with two hard-working parents, one a teacher, the other a dental hygienist, Teanna always knew the importance of letting your actions speak louder than your words. So Teanna wasn't what you would call outgoing, but she wasn't forgettable either. She had a quiet confidence that was ingrained in her from a young age, and she was unfazed by millions of dollars, luxury cars, and the like.

And thus photography fit her personality perfectly. An unassuming profession, Teanna enjoyed being behind a lens and drinking in the human experience. So when she was hired as the photographer for Steph's parents' anniversary party, she didn't know that while she was being paid to watch everyone, that someone had been watching her. And that someone, was Steph Curry.

Teanna's photography business, Capture the Heart, started off as a local operation in which she photographed birthdays, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, quinceañeras, engagements, weddings, etc. But this budding business became a household name in the Bay Area once she was booked by her first celebrity, Kristi Yamaguchi. After that, she slowly rose in popularity and built up a clientele of both normal citizens and the rich and famous.

Somehow, Steph's mother, Sonya, had been given Teanna's card, booked Teanna for their 25th anniversary party, and the rest was history.

Teanna silently chuckled to herself as she reminisced on Steph's terribly cheesy one-liner that was used to get her attention three short years ago...

"Somebody should actually be taking pictures of you," he'd said as he walked up to her while she photographed his parents dancing.

Teanna scoffed and then chuckled before answering, "That's not creepy at all."

Of course, Steph had whispered this one-liner from behind, so Teanna didn't realize she was talking to her clients' eldest son and also the most well-known and successful person living in the Bay currently.

Steph couldn't help but laugh through his shock at the beauty's quick-witted response, which only challenged him more. He wasn't used to having to work at getting the attention of a woman, so this was intriguing.

"What I meant to say," he explained, coming into view, "Is that you are so beautiful and have captured my undivided attention."

Steph smirked as the mystery woman of wit lowered her camera and tried to mask the shocked and pleased look that currently took over her pretty face. Teanna saw his arrogant smirk and decided to keep playing along.

"I mean, I guess I don't want to run away screaming anymore, so, that was a step in the right direction," Teanna smiled warmly, unable to stop her eyes that took in the handsome and playful Steph Curry.

She was captivated by his greenish hazel eyes and loved that he towered over her since she was only 5'6". His tan skin was complimented well by the forest green short-sleeved button down that fit tightly on his toned arms and chest. Not to mention that he always absentmindedly scratched his goatee while smirking, which made Teanna weak in the knees. This man was fine, whether he could shoot or not.
