Hunter's POV

I woke up the next morning around 12:00 and jumped in the shower. I got out only to realize I only had my stinky work clothes. I didn't want to meet my potential new Daddy in those! I walked back into the room where I had slept to find an outfit laid out for me.

It was a pastel blue sweater with navy blue, knee length shorts and a light blue beanie. I guess Kyle's favorite color is blue. I slowly put everything on, only to realize it was 12:55. I put my shoes on hurriedly and rushed down the stairs to find Tim and Ken walking out the door. Ken was impatiently tugging on Tim's hand and I watched as Tim chuckled.

Tim held the door open for me and Ken and I rushed to the backseat of the car. Ken was bouncing excitedly, holding the stuffed bear from last night. Tim came to his side first, buckling him in. He then came to mine and buckled me in before climbing in his seat. "Sorry that I don't have a booster seat for you, Hunter!" He said, looking at me through the rear view mirror.

"It's okay." I reply, yawning softly. Car rides make me sleepy. We pulled out of the driveway and made our way down a smooth road and before I knew it, I had dozed off.

Tim's POV

I walked onto the porch and knocked on the door, holding Ken's hand. Kyle opened the door and Ken hugged him tight. Kyle was practically his uncle. I watched as Kyle looked around confused. "Are you pranking me? I thought you said you found a child." He whined, looking disappointed. "He's in the car, man." I said. "He fell asleep." He smiled and brought Ken into his house as I went to get Hunter.

I walked back to my car and unbuckled Hunter, pulling him out careful not to wake him. I brought him back to the house slowly to find a jealous Ken in the doorway.

Kyle's POV

I saw Ken run to the doorway and his look of playfulness disappear and be replaced with jealousy. Tim came into view holding a boy with longer brown hair that covered his eyes wearing my favorite color: blue. He stirred slightly as Ken whined to be held and suddenly his eyes blinked open. He yawned and rubbed his eyes laying his head back on Tim's shoulder.

I slowly took him from Tim and I saw his cheeks turn a cute shade of pink. Ken made grabby hands toward Tim and he finally picked him up, holding him on his hip like a toddler. The boy I held in my arms brushed his hair to the side and looked up at me. His eyes were such a beautiful shade of green. I smiled and he blushed closing his eyes again.

I sat on the couch and sat him next to me. He leaned against me, still trying to wake up. I chuckled softly. Tim and Ken waved goodbye silently and I waved back. The boy waved nervously and smiled softly. "Hi." I said. "Hey." He whispered back, his voice filled with sleep.

"I'm Kyle." I told him, turning my body so that I faced him. "M'Hunter." He said, rubbing his eyes as he sat up straight. "How old are you?" I asked him and pushed his hair out of him face slowly. I could tell he was nervous from the way he was fidgeting. "19." He whispered. "Louder, please." I said, using my 'Daddy' voice. "19." He said a bit louder looking in my eyes.

"I'm 22." I told him in a bit kinder voice. "Tell me about yourself." I said, leaning back slightly. "My name is Hunter Matthews, my favorite color is pink, my favorite food is ice cream and brownies, um..I'm out of school, and I've been looking for a Daddy for about a year." He says, picking at the scabs on his arms. "Stop that." I tell him, motioning to his picking. "Sorry." He says back putting his hand in his lap.

"I'm Kyle Drew Hawthorne, my favorite color is blue, I like pasta, I am a book editor, and I've been looking for a child for about three years." I tell him and his mouth goes wide in shock. I laugh softly and smile, staring at him. "What's something you hate?" I ask, tilting my head curiously. His face scrunches up and he says, "Asparagus." I laugh and smile big. "I hate cheaters." I reply and he nods, scrunching his face up once more.

We talk for another hour or so before I bring up the contract. "Would you like to take a look at the contract?" I ask, hoping he'll say yes. He nods and I try to hold my tongue. If the contract was signed I'd tell him to use his words. I motioned for him to follow me as I stood up, walking up the stairs.
