Haley POV
I don't know what's worse, the fact that my boyfriend of almost 2 years and I are having a rough patch or that I have to pretend that everything is fine because people will talk.
"Haley, hello are you okay?"
Kat broke me out of my thoughts.
She's one of my best friends and so is Jenny and we all were walking to my car.
"Sorry what did you say?"
"How are you and Nick?"
I looked down because I know we aren't doing good but they'll think our relationship is over and then tell people we aren't doing good so girls will start talking to him.
"Good I'm just about to go see him"
Kat and Jenny smiled
"Going strong" Jenny smiled at me
"Yeah, I'll see you guys later"
They waved bye and I started driving to nicks house and thinking "man since 10th grade" I love him I mean I think it's love he's the only person I've ever dated. I pulled up to his house and the guard let me in.
"Nick are you in here" I went to his weight room and saw him lifting weights
"Hey, I didn't know you were gonna come"
"I missed you at school today"
I looked at him and he smiled
"Really or are you just saying that?"
"I really missed you" I wrapped my arms around him
"I misses you to my love" he started kissing my neck
"Nick" he kept kissing down my neck
"No ones home" he whispered in my ear.
No one is ever home.
"I'm not ready" I backed away and he just stood there.
"You haven't been ready for years. When are you going to be ready?" this is how the rough patch started.
"I don't know" honestly I just feel like that's all he cares about but he's put up with me for this long but it just doesn't feel right.
"I'm just gonna go" I left before he could even speak and I just went home
