Chapter 10

I love you

"Mom I'm leaving!" I yell as I walk down the stairs.
"OK honey remember get home at twelve thirty!"
"OK!"
I close the door and walk to the rental car.
I had to go to some guys house and meet Jessica there.
I typed the coordinates in the GPS and backed out of the drive way.

Its been thirty minutes and there's no sign of Jessica. I sigh and walk into the house. As soon as the door opened you could smell a strong mixture of sweat and cheap beer.
I smiled at a few people as I made my way into the kitchen. I grabbed a beer and popped the top off.
She better come. I thought as I sipped my drink. I found a bar stool to sit on next to the island in the kitchen. Sitting there I started to observe the house. The place is huge. Who ever owns the place must be loaded. There was a expensive flat screen TV on the wall and the kitchen looked like the ones in the professional cooking shows.
"Big huh."
I jumped and looked over to the source of the deep voice.
It was Sam. I sighed "yeah it is."
He smiled and sat next me.
"so what are you doing here?" I questioned.
"Um well it is a singles party and I'm single so."
"But what happened to Olivia? You were talking about her at practice."
He shrugged " I dumped her."
"Oh."
"Why are you here I don't peg you for a girl who goes to party's to meet guys?"
"This girl Jessica wanted someone to go with her. And I haven't seen her at all tonight."
"Jessica Waters?" He asked
"Yeah?!"
"I talked to her for a little bit and she went home said she had a headache."
"Ugh."
"But you can stay and hang out with me."
"Yeah I guess that'd be fun."
He smiled "we're gonna have some fun princess."

Two bottles of vodka and a case of beer later Sam and I were totally drunk.
"You t..totally like him!" I stammered, Sam just looked at me like I was stupid.
"I'm not g..gay Amanda!"
I giggled "sure k...keep telling yourself t..that big boy!
"I L..LIKE GIRLS!" he screamed.
We started laughing,when everyone cheered and then there was some girl that screamed "me too!" And kissed her friend.
"Well that w..was weird." Sam says giggling.
"I dare you to go kiss him!"
Justin grinned at me "challenge accepted!"
"Not much of an argument from a boy that's straight!" I giggled.
"Shut up Amanda!" He said walking up to the guy. "Man I love you!" He leaned in and kissed the guy. And weirdly the guy kissed him back. I pulled out my phone and recorded it.
"BLACKMAIL!" I yell.
Sam pulls back and taps the guys chest "give me your phone!"
The guys does as told and Sam types away and gives it back. "Call me sexy!"
The guy grins "I will."
Sam walks back grinning "where's my money?"
I put my phone bake in my pocket.
"What money?"
"The money you bet on if I would kiss him or not!"
I started laughing " I didn't bet anything!"
"Oh well," he shrugs " the guy was hot!"
"Amanda?"
I look over to see drake.
"Drake! I thought you had a family thingy today!"
"I did it ended I came to see you, Sam?"
"Hey man."
I grabbed drakes arm "Sam's gay, shhhh don't tell anyone." I said whispering in his ear.
"OK your drunk!" Drake says pulling me towards the door "I'm taking you home."
I stopped "what No I don't want to leave!"
"Come on I'll get you ice cream!"
I stood there for a second "OK!"

He pulled me into a car buckling my seatbelt for me. "Thank you."
He smiled and got into the drivers seat.

He went and got me a ice cream cone and started driving to my house.
"You know drake, I love you ."
Drake sighed "Amanda eat your ice cream your drunk."
"I know I am silly! But I'm being serious I love you!" I said whispering the last part.
"You got me ice cream and your taking me home, your just so dang nice!"
He sighed.
"Do you not love me?" I pout.
"I'm not answering you because one your drunk and don't know what the crap your talking about and two you won't remember anything."
"So you do love me!"
"We're here."
I look out the window "ugh fine you party pooper"
As I got out he said "bye."
I walked inside my house, trudged upstairs and laid on my bed. I finished my ice cream cone and curled up under the blankets. Falling asleep faster than I have ever fallen asleep in my life.

BEEP.BEEP.BEEP.

I taped the off button on my alarm clock.
The pain! Oh the pain!
My head was pounding.
What did I do last night?
I took an Advil from my bathroom cabinet. I sat down checking my phone. I unlocked it and saw I record something. I pushed play. "Oh my gosh!" I laughed as Sam started making out with some guy.
"Call me sexy!"
"No he did not just say that!"
When I stopped laughing my phone pinged.

Drake: are you feeling OK? After last night you probably have a bad headache.

Amanda: yeah I'm good what did I do last night?

Drake: you got drunk, I got you ice cream and took you home.

Amanda: thank you so much! please tell me I didn't say anything stupid.

Drake: you said you loved me a few times but that's it.

I DID NOT SAY THAT!!!!!!! WHAT THE CRAP AMANDA!

Amanda: oh sorry.

Drake: its OK alcohol makes you say things you don't mean.

Amanda: yeah.

I'm an idiot!

Drake: we have practice later you OK with going?

Amanda: I'll be there, usual time?

Drake: yep see ya there.

"Ugh!" I huff throwing myself on my bed, suddenly regretting it as my head starts pounding.
