I'm the real winner!

"You know you never did tell me why the shadows hate the living"
I told Nathan as I drove to Drake's house. It took a lot of convincing to my dad to let me skip today. I just hope skipping school was worth it.
Nathan looked at me as I drove "Talon just hates the living I guess. And the fact that there's the seekers it guess he feels threatened. From what I heard he had a crappy life!"
I sighed as I parked my car in drakes driveway. I got out and knocked on the door. Lizzie answers a smile on her face.
"What are you doing home?" I questioned as I walked in.
"The flu!" She sighed
"That sucks!"
She coughed "you know I don't know why you don't just walk in your always here!" I walked with her to the kitchen. She grabbed a water, downing half of it before putting the cap back on.
I shrugged "I'm weird like that."
She smiled "he's in his room, second door on the left!"
I smiled thanking her as I went towards his room. I found the door and knocked.
"Come in!"
I opened the door to see a shirtless Drake playing a game.
"What do you want Liz?" He asked not looking up from the TV.
"Well looks like I skipped school to watch you play Call of duty shirtless!"
He jumped slightly and looked up. His face grew red as he grinned "you know you like the view penguin!"
I smiled "sure keep telling yourself that!"
I sat down on his bed as he turned the Xbox off. Nathan came in and sat on the floor.
Drake turned around and jumped when he saw Nathan.
"Amanda come over here, slowly!" He said eyes never leaving Nathan.
"Why?"
"Because there's a ghost beside you and I need you to move!"
I smiled "Drake its fine!"
"No its not Amanda come here!"
"Drake stop, this is Nathan and its not ghost he's a shadow! Now sit down!"
He sat down on the bed hesitantly.
Nathan smiled "I won't kill you man! I'm Casper the friendly ghost, or would that be Casper the friendly shadow?!" He asked himself.
I rolled my eyes "he's good trust me!" I said looking at Drake.
"I don't know about this!"
"Its OK!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure!" I said grabbing his hand.
Nathan looked at us "do you want alone time with your boyfriend?" He whispered a little to loudly.
My eyes widened "Nathan!" I screeched letting his hand go.
He started laughing, I glaced at Drake has was smirking his face red.
"I'm so gonna kill you!"
He laughed harder "I'm already dead genius!"
I groaned "I hate you."
He smiled "no you don't we're best friends now your not aloud!"
"Ugh!"
I turned to face Drake "why'd you call me over here?"
His face was still red "I just wanted to ask a few questions!"
I smiled "ask away!"
"OK so when did you see your first ghost?"
"First shadow," I corrected him "at the mall!"
"OK did you speak to the shadow?"
I frowned "yeah she was screaming and covered in dry blood. I thought she was in trouble."
He sighed "that's when they found out."
"Found out what?"
"That you can see shadows!"
I bit my lip.
"How many shadows did you see after that?"
I thought for a second "uh two Nathan and..... my brother."
"OK, now what happens when you see them? Like headache or what?"
I sighed "uh the only time I had a headache and blurry vision was the first time I saw chase. I passed out then to and I got a headache the last I saw him!"
He sighed "OK well we have to work on some things but I think your dealing fine with your powers physically so far. When I first got them I would get sick every time I saw a shadow for a week!"
"You good now right?" Nathan asked.
Drake nodded "yeah I'm good!"
"Good because if you would of threw up when I came in I would've punch you!" Nathan says looking at him.
I laughed "Nathan shush!"
"I'm serious I can't see that! I may not be able to throw up but man it'd suck! I'd be gaging and I hate that!" He exclaimed.
Lizzie comes in frowning can you guys not talk to your little ghosts so loudly please! I'm trying to sleep!" She said closing the door.
"Who she calling little?" Nathan said sounding hurt.
I looked at Drake "she knows?!"
He nodded"My mom too!"
"Well."
"They're OK with it. Not at first but after awhile they realized it wasn't going to go away!"
I smiled "that's nice. That they're cool with it!"
"Yeah it made it easier when I was a kid. I had a lot of 'imaginary friends'!" He said chuckling a little.
I smiled, I put my weight on my left arm, leaning on the bed.
"Who is she calling little!?" Nathan said still stuck on Lizzie's words. "Man if she could see me she'd know I wasn't little!" He said flexing his biceps.
I laughed "stop before you hurt yourself!"
He glared at me "hey I'm bigger than your boyfriend over there!"
Drake scoffed "yeah right!"
Nathan smirked as my face flared when drake didn't deny being called my boyfriend.
"Arm wrestle?" He suggested.
Drake shrugged "I'm game!"
"OK let's throw in a prize! Loser gets to take Amanda out winner gets a kiss!"
I coughed "um do I have a say in this?"
Drake smiled at me than back at Nathan "your on!"
I groaned "this is ridiculous!" I said as the sat opposite of each other.
"Go!" Nathan shouted.
Nathan slapped Drake's hand on the bed without any trouble.
"Well." Drake said smirking.
"I get a kiss come here Amanda!"
I kissed him on the cheek "I hate you!" I whispered into his ear before pulling away. Drake sat next to me and leaned into my ear.
"I'm the real winner!" He whispered seductively before pulling away.
"I let you win bro!"
Nathan chuckled "sure you did weak link!"
"I'm no weak link!" Drake exclaimed.
"Mhmm," Nathan smiled "sure!"
Drake groaned and looked at me, he was smiling "I'll take you out after band practice?"
I blushed "perfect!"
"Amanda and Drake sittin in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g!" Nathan taunted he nodded "I totally ship it!"
I laughed "you did not just say you ship us!"
"Yeah I'm cool I can say things like ship and thot?"
I choked on my spit.
"What?"
"Do you even know what thot means Nate?"
"No." He frowned a little
"It means ho!"
His frown depend "OK I'm never saying that again that's so disrespectful!"
I smiled "glade you think so!"
Drake smiled at me giving me a wink, I blushed.
"Ewe." Nathan said groaning.
"Jealous much?!" Drake mutters.
"Bro I heard that! And no I like being single, more shadow girls for me!"
I laughed "yeah."
"I'm hot! Don't deny you said I was yesterday!"
Drake looked at me "what?"
"I was being nice and told him he's a hot seventy five year old!"
Drakes face scrunched up "penguin that's weird!"
I sighed "shut up I was trying to be nice."
Nathan smiled " I told her it sounded creepy!"
Ugh jerks!
"Heard that!" Drake said smiling
