Ezzy's POV

I got out my phone and decided to text Landen.

Hey, why did you pull that fire alarm?

Cuz I'm cool like that. Lol.

Erm, okay? Wanna come to my house? I can ask my sister if you can.

Sure, let me ask my dad.

Okay!

I walked up the steps to ask Abernathy. I woke her up and she said yes. But, she didn't know it was a boy. I decided to keep that a secret. I sat down on the couch. About five minutes later, I heard a knock on the door. "Hey, it's Landen," the voice called from behind the door. I opened the door, hoping I looked halfway decent. "You look good," I said when I opened the door. I instantly regretted it. "Uh, thanks. So do you," he said coming into the house. Then, a car pulled up. "Hey Ezzy, where's Abernathy?" Jack J said when he got out the car. "Um, she's taking a nap," I said. His view caught over to Landen. "Is this the boy from laser tag that you like?" He said looking over my shoulder. "Yeah. but I don't like him that way," I said glaring at him. He walked past me into the kitchen and picked up a notebook. Then Abernathy came down.
