Text message from Ricky received at 2:30- RICKY: Hey! Do u wanna sleep ova 2nite with me and Tam?
I almost instantly replied.
BROOKE: Yeah! Sure! When do I come over?
RICKY: 3:00?
BROOKE: Yep! Be there soon! RICKY: Alright, c u soon!
I didn't bother asking my parents, because I knew they would say yes anyway. I started packing, then I got another text.
JAI: Here's the video from today of you 'attacking' that boy in the pool! :')
BROOKE: I was not attacking him!!!! xo
JAI: Yeah, Yeah, just watch the video!
I clicked on the link and watched the video. "Oh my goodness! I was attacking him!" I said to myself. When the video stopped, I continued packing. I walked downstairs with my bag and told Mum I was going to Ricky's tonight.
"I'll drive you to her house now." "Alright, thanks Mum!"
Mum drove me to Ricky's house and we said our goodbyes. I got out of the car and walked to the front door. I rand the door bell and Ricky answered, "Hey! Come in, come in!" "Is Tamara here yet?"
"Yeah, she's on her way!"
We got some snacks out of the kitchen and walked upstairs to her room. Ricky put the snacks out onto different plates and placed them on a table. "So what are we gonna get up to tonight?" I asked her curiously. "Well, we-" Ricky was cut off by the sound of the doorbell ringing.
"That'll be Tam!" Ricky and I rushed downstairs to the door.
"Hey, Tam!" we both said in sync. "Hey girls!" said Tamara as she waked in to Ricky's house. We all walked up to her room and Tamara put her bag next to Ricky's bed. We grabbed some snacks for ourselves and sat in a circle.
"Wanna play truth or dare?" Ricky suggested.
"Sure!"
"Yeah, I'll play."
"I'll go first." suggested Ricky.
"Okay, Tam. Truth or dare?"
"Dare!" Tamara answered, overly confident.
"Alright, I dare you to say to a boy at school that you 'love' them through text."
Tamara got out her phone and selected a contact.
"I'll text it to Jamie."
Tamara sent the message and we all started laughing hysterically.
"Hey, he replied!" shouted Tamara as she opened the message.
TAMARA: I LOVE YOU, Jamie! <3 JAMIE: WTF?!
"Hahahahaha!" we all laughed.
"Okay, Brooke. T or D?" asked Tamara. "T."
"Do you think of Jai as the 'X-factor Jai'?"
"No, I think of him as the 'sweet, caring, boyfriend Jai'."
"Aw!" said both Ricky and Tamara. "Alright, Ricky! T or D?" I asked.
"D."
"I dare you to fake break up with Darryl!"
"Wow, no way!"
"It's a dare!" Tamara yelled.
"Alright.." Ricky grabbed out her phone and texted Darryl.
RICKY: Hey, sorry.. It's just not working out between us. I'm breaking up with you..
"OMG, she actually did it!" Tamara cried.
Darryl texted back about 1 minute later. DARRYL: What? Why?!
RICKY: Sorry! It was a stupid dare! I loooove you!
DARRYL: Oh, thank goodness! Luv u 2!
"Game on Brooke! T or D?" asked Ricky.
"Game on! D!"
"I dare you to dump Jai through text!" "Easy!"
I got my phone out of my bag and quickly texted Jai.
BROOKE: Sorry, It is just not working.. We're done.. :/
He texted back instantly, JAI: What? Baby no! Why? :'( :'(
BROOKE: Don't worry! ily! It was a dare!
JAI: Don't ever do that again! I couldn't live with out you! <3
I put my phone back in my bag.
"You guys are the cutest!" Tamara awed.
"Wanna have dinner now?" Ricky asked us both.
"Yeah, sure." I replied. We went downstairs and sat at the table. Ricky's mum served us lasagne, "YUM! LASAGNE! My favourite!" Tamara said, gazing at the lasagne in front of her. We all ate dinner and by the time we were finished, we were full and tired!
"Well, I'm gonna call it a night!" said Tamara, yawning.
"Yeah, me too." I said.
"That makes three of us!" fnished Ricky. We changed into our Pj's and headed off to bed. "Night, all." I said, before drifting off into a deep sleep.
