Commander?

There's a Commander out here?

I follow Cole into a tent. This is tent was...different. Entirely different.

In the centre of the tent is what you would a throne. The throne is woven out of branches from a tree that the tent is centered around. Each branch that made up the throne is carved with intricate designs.

The Commander is seated on the throne.

The Commander.

The Commander-she-was clearly young. She was dark skinned and her black hair is in braids which trail down her back. Her cheekbones are streaked with black war paint.

Power. She radiated with power.
Not in a literal sense, but she held herself high.

"Commander." Cole acknowledges with a small bow.

"Cole." She nods.

"This is Samantha's granddaughter." He says, turning to me. The Commander tilts her head as she studies me.

"You are dismissed, Cole."

With a sharp nod and a momentary glance in my direction, Cole was off.
I was alone. With the Commander.
