Chapter 28

Lily POV
I woke up feeling extremely hot.
I got up, and rubbed my eyes once I could see clearly I saw that Adrian was sweating and breathing hard.
I felt his forehead and he was burning up.
He said not to worry but I don't think this is normal.
I got up and went to the restroom wetting paper towels and placing it on his forehead.

"Adrian wake up." I say worried shaking him.
I would want to put him on the tub, but I can't carry him.
"Adrian please wake up."
I started shaking him faster and faster.
"Adrian please.."
I could feel tears forming.
"Adrian please wake up."I placed my face on his burning hot chest, and I closed my eyes.
I feel one tear fall down and landed on his chest.
I whipped it away and kissed his chest.
When I kissed him he groaned.
I kissed his chest once more.
I feel him stir and I became happy.

"Adrian wake up."
"Stop lily it's ok." I hear his voice groaning.
"B-But your burning up."I say worried.

He covers his eyes with his arm.
"This is the worst timing."
"Lily I'm in heat."
In heat?
Like a dog..?
I shook my head remembering what he was.
"How can I help you Adrian?"
"Have sex with me." He said bluntly.
I stared at the ground not knowing what to say.
When he got up and removed his arm from his eyes I gasped.
"Your eyes.."I say in shocked.
"Oh yea my eyes turn gold when I'm in heat."
Gold? That's not what I'm seeing.
I'm seeing pure red.
He walks to the bathroom and I follow him.
When he sees himself he groans.
"Why are my eyes red?"
He then spaced out. He told me when he does that randomly it's because he's talking to Red.

When he was back to normal he growled.
"Lily do you not want me?"
His eyes were flashing anger and the redness did not help.
"Answer me lily!" I look up at him in fear.
I was afraid he was going to hit me.
"My wolf feels like we just got rejected that's the reason my eyes turned red!" He kept on shouting at me.
I stayed quiet.
I didn't reject him.
I just didn't want to have sex.
"I'm sorry Adrian I'm just not ready."I say worriedly with my hands covering my face.

If he hit me it would be a lot more powerful than my fathers.
I see Adrian raise his hand and I close my eyes waiting for the impact.
It never came all I see is Adrian sighing and rubbing his temples.
"You didn't hit me?"
That made him stop what he was doing.
"You thought I was gonna hit you."
His red eyes flashing once more in anger.
"How many times do I have to tell you stop being afraid of me I will never hit you."
"I rather die than ever be the one that hits you lily I don't want to hurt you ever."
I stood there half of me understood and believe him while the other half the broken half didn't.
"Lily do you want me?"
I nodded I do what him he saved me..I just don't want sex yet.

As I stayed quiet he just kept on getting angrier.
"You don't want me do you!" Adrian started screaming his face was changing from man to wolf.

It had to be the scariest thing I've seen in my life.
I screamed as he jumped on me.
My throat was now all raspy, and now I have a giant wolf on top of me.
The wolf eyes were bleeding.
I see tears of blood slowly coming out of eyes.

I just stared at him in shock.
Red bared his teeth as I try to back away.
I slowly got up from the ground Red watching my every move bared his teeth when he saw something he didn't like.
"I'm sorry Red but can I get Adrian back?" My raspy voice was hard to understand, but as those words left my mouth he growled.
I closed my eyes, and there Adrian was fully naked.
I gasped at his sight.
His faced was all messed up he looked like he been crying for days.
It looks like his soul left him.
Adrian sighs when I closed my eyes, and pointed at his private area.
I hear him open his closet and picks out boxers.

I open my eyes when I think it safe.
I see him staring at me and his red eyes show so much hate and anger.
"Great my own mate doesn't want me." He growled to himself.
I stayed quiet as I saw him begin to rage.
He started destroying his room.
He threw everything against the wall when he was done his knuckles and his hands were bleeding. I walk up to him very cautious and hug him from behind.

I know I caused this, but Adrian deserved better than me.
I feel his muscles relax at the touch of my hand. I grab his hands and kiss them.
"Don't hurt yourself idiot." I whisper looking straight at his eyes.

He pulls his hands away from me."If you don't want me don't touch me."
He growled his eyes flashing anger.
As those words came out it felt as someone gotten a knife and stabbed me right in my heart.
I pulled my hand back, and I felt something hit my lap.
I look down and I saw a tear just rolling away.
I wipe my face.
I put my face in between my knees.
"I'm sorry Adrian.."
I look up at him standing there I see one tear fall, and then his face expression turned hard.
"Well I'm not clearly you don't want me, and I can't live with that lily now tell me are you going to reject me because if you are you will never see me ever again." He talked so calmed that it scared me.

A life without Adrian?
Where would I go?
What would I do?

I looked up at him, and started crying.
I am completely worthless without him.
I would have nothing to live for.
I got up and wrapped my arm around his waist.
I couldn't let him go.
I wish I could take this night all back.

"I can't live without you Adrian I'm sorry I Truly am"I cried my eyes out I don't even know if I even said those words correctly.
He understood me and wrapped his arms over me.
He lets out a long sigh and breathes in my scent.
