"I made it up to O, sort of.

She can get lost in her books all she wants, but I know that she wants more than that. She wants to know what is going on in the world, particularly the world I made her leave behind. The world has come a long way, and so we went to the library again and the librarian taught her how to use the computers, how to search on the internet for anything she wants to know about. News sources, history, current events. Anything she wants to know, she can find right there. This will get her out of the house more, and she'll be in a place I consider safe. Ironically, she apologized for raising her voice yesterday, but I know I deserved it. I'm home alone right now, she persuaded me into leaving her at the library, and now I'm not sure what to do with myself; this is the first time I've been utterly alone here. This must be how she feels when I'm gone; it's peaceful and yet I have a bad feeling I simply cannot shake."
