Mari POV
I breathed in as I sat in my car, I need to go back in, it was only five in the morning,

I looked at the blinking clock and sighed, "why cruel world, why do you do this to me," I said pulling out of the parking lot

Surely I had more then enough time to go get a coffee or a donut, or just roam around the semi empty streets

Any thing to get me away from work, I turned on the radio, maybe music could distract me, I thought to myself,

I flicked through the channels, nothing but new garbage, I flipped to one last one, it was a song I knew, "well... Sure it's a good song"

I started to sing along

My phone rang, I picked it up
"Hey Mari"
"Oh, hi Courtney"
"I'm super sorry about what happened,"
"It's fine it's not your fault"
"Ok good, when are you coming back?"
"That depends how willing is every one to tell me what's wrong"
"Probably not that willing but please come back soon"
"Haha ok do you want a chocolate donut or glazed"
"Glazed, and Mari?" She asked hesitantly
"Yea?"
"What did you think about that ring?"
I thought for a moment
"Courtney, to tell you the truth I loved it but..."
"But what"
"it gave me a really uneasy feeling, like I shouldn't have had it, or that there was something special connected to that ring I didn't know about"
She went silent,
"Maybe it was possessed"
I laughed "haha maybe"
"Ok bye" I hung up the phone and sighed

"more secrets being hidden from me" I sighed, and walked into the place, "hi I'd like two glazed donuts and a coffee with hazelnut" she nodded,

I looked behind me as a teenage girl walked into line, I smiled, "your Mari right?" I turned around "yea the one and only," she laughed

"I'm such a big fan" she reached her hand out, "I'm amethyst" I shook it, "I really have one question I need to ask" I nodded

"Are you and Flitz in a relationship?" I laughed "Um no I don't think so, unless the Smosh squad is hiding something from me"

She laughed "you've just been closer in the past videos and in that one where you kissed him I thought something was going on"

I looked at her confused "I'm sorry wh-" the cup and a bag were slid across the counter, "oh I'm sorry amethyst I have to go, nice meeting you"

I swiftly walked out the door, and to my car, I sped to the office, and walked in

"Hey Mari your back," Courtney said holding her arms out, "yea here" I shoved the bag into her hands, "um thanks what are you doing!" She shouted as I walked further down the hall

"Just some investigating" I grabbed my laptop and walked into a dark room locking the door behind me, I flicked on the lights knowing I wouldn't be disturbed,

I looked at the Smosh games YouTube account scrolling down and watching videos, I pulled up the video called jovens shire,

I watched it, normal maricraft video, as always, the video cut to the end where joven was talking about other videos and the new touch screen video thing

Then it cut to black, I exited out of fullscreen and was about ready to close out the tab, "what do you say lunch" I looked back at the screen, it was a video of a shaky camera, "we need another excuse for a bonus video"

The camera panned to me and Flitz, "alright I'll see you guys there" I stood up and gave Flitz a kiss,

Then I turned around "Wes what are you doing?" I charged at him and the video finally stopped,

"What the hell" i heard knocking at the door, "Mari" I heard sohinki's voice from behind the door,

I got up and opened it a crack, "hey sohinki" I opened it fully, "I was worried about you you've been in theres long time"

I laughed "to tell you the truth I sorta fell asleep" he laughed too "you can go home if you'd like I know it's been hard on you and we have enough videos to last us today and tomorrow,

"Thanks but I'm fine I'd rather hang out here" he nodded and walked away "I'll leave you too your sleeping then" I smiled "no more secrets"
