Silvertongue looked in the mirror, straightening his imaginary bow tie and grabbing the locket he had bought for Amethystglimmer. He knocked on her door, because cats totally have houses and doors and Amethystglimmer is totally not in the nursery 24/7.

Amethystglimmer didn't respond to his knock, making him worry. He knocked again, but there was still no answer. Getting even more worried, Silvertongue pressed himself against the door.

"Amethystglimmer?" he called hopefully.

"Amethystglimmer is not here," she said from inside in a bad robot impression.

"Uh, then how come I can hear you talking to me?"

"This is a recorded message. Good day to you," she said.

Silvertongue walked off sadly, but before he had gone far, a random cat knocked on Amethystglimmer's door. She flung the door open, smiling.

"I installed a peephole! Now, whenever Silvertongue comes, I can pretend that I'm a recorded message!" she said cheerfully, and Silvertongue wandered off sadly, wondering how he was supposed to talk to Amethystglimmer now.
