(Jeric's POV)
Aroung 9 pm Dom finally replied.
Dom: You don't have to. I had fun naman.
I gripped my phone hard.
"Bahala ka jan." I said aloud and placed my phone at the night stand.
After 10 mins I gave in and tap a reply.
Me: How was it?
Dom: He asked if he can date me.
I growled. If I saw this guy I'll eat him for lunch.
I dialed Dom's number.
"What was your answer?" I asked immediately when she picked up.
"Huh?"
"When he asked you if he can date you, anong sagot mo?" Nakakainis.
She thought for a moment.
"Ano na?" I asked again impatiently.
"I told him I'm in love with someone else." She answered.
"Sino naman yun??"
"Uhmm... Secret." She answered.
I grunted.
"Grumpy little tiger." Dom teased.
"Hindi ako nakikipag asaran sayo ha."
"Grumpy." She repeated. "Sungit. And you ditched me pa nyan sa lagay na yan a. You should be a little nicer King Tiger."
"The King Tiger only bows down to his Queen." I answered.
"The King Tiger bows down to ME." She chirped.
"Bahala ka nga jan." I said.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"Oo!" I answered.
"Ok." She disconnected the call.
Did she just hang up on me? I dialed her number.
"Bakit mo binaba?" I snapped.
"Sabi mo bahala ako." I reasoned. "And because you ditched me." Pangongonsensya nya.
"Ok. You win." I surrendered.
"Is it someone I know?" I added before she could tease me.
"Who?" She asked.
"The someone you had fallen in love with."
Dom paused for a moment before answering. "Yes."
"Is it my brother?"
No answer.
“Is it Jeron?” I asked again.
Dom laughed.
"What?" I asked starting to be irritated again.
"I only said that for him to stop bothering me."
"Yeah right." I answered in I'm-not-convinced tone. "What's your secret and Jeron's anyway?" I curiously asked.
"Uh... It was just an embarrassing stuff." She answered.
"You won't really tell me?" I asked.
"Yes. Sorry Jeric. It's the best for both of us, trust me."
"Ok." I answered.
I found Jeron playing Ps3, lying on his stomach.
"Jeron you like new shoes diba?"
