(Dom's POV)
"I love you." I heard Jeric said out of the blue while he focused himself with the steering wheel.
I laughed.
"What?" He took his eyes off from the road to have a quick glimpse of me.
"I already lost count on how many times you told me that you love me, during this trip alone palang ha." I answered. "Baka mamaya magsawa ka nyan..."
Jeric smiled.
"I'm sure I won't." He announced.
"What's up with you?" I asked.
He thought for a moment.
"Nothing." He answered after a while.
"Nothing?" I stared at him.
"I just... Want to make you feel how much I love you in everything way I could."
His answer made me froze.
"What?" It's his turn to ask.
I grinned.
"What?"He asked again.
"Tinamaan ata ako ulit sayo."
"Works well for me." Jeric grinned.
"So... When did you realized that you love me?" His grin became wider.
"Hmmm..."
Jeric waited for my answer.
"Secret."
"Nagsesecret ka na ngayon sakin a." Jeric remarked.
"Eh, di naman na tayo magbest friend e..." I joked.
"Ano bang klaseng dahilan yan?" Napakunot noo nya.
I answered by laughing.
"Hindi mo na ko best friend?" Jeric asked.
"Bakit best friend mo pa ba ako?" I asked back.
"Oo."
That made me smile. Is there something better than that? Having someone who is your boyfriend and at the same time your best friend.
"Sige nga. Kelan mo nalaman na mahal mo ko?" I tried not to smile when I threw back to him his own question.
"After my first PBA game..."
Seriously? I had avoided him back that time when I really don't have to. Sayang naman yung pagtitiis ko. Well... I guess nakatulong din yung namiss na ako. Haha. :)
"You played good that time." I commented.
"Baka sa TV lang yun."
"I actually watch your game live." I confessed. "Kuya Leo fetched me at the airport when I came back from Japan. Before I went home I flew to Davao to watch you."
Jeric looked at me with disbelief.
"Hindi nga?" He finally asked.
"Oo nga. Ask Jeron. We bumped into each other after the game."
"Totoo pala yung sinabi sakin dati ni Jeron." Jeric laughed. "Akala ko pinagtitripan lang nya ako."
"Kinilig ka naman." I teased.
I stared at Jeric's widest grin so far.
"Sasagutin mo na ba yung tanong ko?" He asked.
"Anong tanong?" I asked innocently even I perfectly know what he meant.
