Nakaupo lang sa isang bench si Karylle. Kasalukuyan niyang pinapanood ang mga batang naglalaro sa may playground and some lovebirds strolling around the park.
"Hi" a very familiar voice said who sat beside her na siyang ikinagulat ng huli "Kamusta ka na?" tanong pa nito
"Im fine" Karylle answered. Without looking, she already knew who it was.
Then silence took over the both of them
"Sorry" sabay nilang saad. Karylle can feel the awkwardness. As wind blew, cars passing by and the sky gets darker, no one dares to talk again.
Vice took a deep breath. He could feel his heart beating faster than he could imagine. Then he started singing
When you hold me in the street, and you kiss me on the dancefloor .. I wish that it could be like that why can't it be like that cause Im yours ~
We keep behind close doors, everytime I see you I die a little more. Stolen moments that we steal as the curtain falls, It'll never be enough ~

But we know this, we've got a love that is homeless

Habang kumakanta, memories from the past came rushing
"Akala ko ba makikipaghiwalay ka na kay Yael? Bakit ang tagal K?!!" galit na singhal ng binata
"Its not that easy Vice. Kung pagod ka na kakaintindi sa akin, then go" mapait na balik ng dalaga na hindi na mapigilan ang maiyak.
Never in his life na naisip niyang sukuan ang kung ano man ang meron sa kanila ni K, kaya labis siyang nasaktan sa mga nasabi ng dalaga but instead he hugged her tight and said, "Just remember this, If there is one thing that I wouldn't do as long as I live, yun ay ang mapagod para sayo. Mahal na mahal kita K"
"Mahal din kita" pikit matang tugon pabalik ng dalaga "Maybe tonight is the right time"
Would you leave if I was ready to settle down? Or would you play it safe and stay?
Girl you know this, we've got a love that is hopeless
"Sabi ko hiwalayan mo siya, hindi sagutin siya bilang fiancé" mapait na saad ni Vice ng makita ang singsing na suot ng dalaga "pero masaya ako para sayo" he smiled sadly bago tuluyang tinalikuran ang dalaga, ngunit mas lalo siyang naiyak when he felt a pair of small arms wrapped around his waist
"Im sorry Vice. Mahal na mahal kita" umiiyak na salita ni K
"Bitaw na Karylle, ikakasal ka na" tuluyan na niyang tinanggal ang pagkakayapos ng dalaga sa kanyang bewang and left without saying another word

And nobody knows, Im inlove with someone's baby. I don't wanna hide us away. Tell the world about the love we're making. Im living for the day ~ Someday
Matapos ang paguusap na iyon ay hindi na sila muling nagkita. Hindi na pumasok ng showtime ang binata at ang sabi ay umalis ito ng bansa. Karylle on the other hand settled and got married.

Vice finished the song bago nilingon ang katabi "Im sorry" Vice started "Sorry kung lumayo ako"
"Wag kang magsorry please, hindi mo naman kasalanan" salita ni Karylle at tuluyan nang nilingon ang binata, for the first time after 2 years they got the chance to stare at each other
"I get it. After 2 years finally, naiintindihan na din kita kung bakit" may himig ng lungkot na saad ng binata "You chose to play it safe kaya mo siya pinili over me. Gusto mo ng assurance, commitment and a family pero bakla ako kaya inisip mong Im not capable of doing that, but instead he can. Right?"
"Vice"
"Ok lang ako K. All this time kasi iniisip ko kung bakit, akala ko mas mahal mo talaga siya kaya mo siya pinili. Now I understand. Kung ako din naman ang papipiliin, dun ako sa sigurado" he smiled sadly "Masaya ka naman diba?"
Karylle nodded while tears are streaming down her cheeks.
"Atleast masaya ka, kahit wag na ako. Wala akong alam on how to unlove a person, kaya minahal kita noon, mahal kita ngayon at patuloy pa rin kitang mamahalin kahit sa malayo man lang" and with that ay niyakap ni Karylle si Vice ng mahigpit
"Thank you for everything" she whispered "Sorry ulit"
Vice pulled away and placed a kiss on her forehead "Ok na"
Tumango si K and started wiping her tears "Pero grabe ka, di mo talaga ako sinipot nung kasal ko" she jokingly said at isinandal ang ulo sa balikat ni Vice
"Ang ganda mo sigurong bride"
Both of them we're silent. Parehong ninanamnam ang malamig na hangin na dumadampi sa mga balat nila. Until he felt K's weight on his shoulder at napagtantong nakatulog pala ito.
"I lied K, I was there. I saw you in your wedding gown" he said and gave her a smack on her lips.
