As promised another update in honor of fall break!!
Song: Castle;Hasley

I opened my eyes quick because the girl next to me was moving around. I looked to see her crying in her sleep while thrashing. I sighed and pulled her closer to me and rocked her back and forth as much as I could. She stopped crying and snuggled her head into the crook of my neck. I smiled slightly remembering from when she was young.
She would have nightmares and would climb into my bed and snuggled into my side with her head in the crook of my neck. Most of the time she slept in my bed because I didn't have guys over at night that is until I met Fred. But that didn't stop her from coming into our room in the middle of the night and snuggling into me. A couple times I was naked and so was Fred but she still would come and snuggle up to me. Fred would wait till she went back to sleep before putting pajama pants on and taking her back to her bed.
When Emilee turned eight that's when she distanced herself from me. Sure she was mommas little girl but she just wanted to do things on her own. Always asking to be at other people house or whatever.
It got worse when she became twelve and then even more so when I started working all the time up here in Vancouver. That's when I decided to move her and the boys up here.
I eventually fell asleep with all the memories swimming in my head.

I had gotten up about an hour ago and decided to have someone run to the house to grab my scrap book.
"I'm on my way." "I know you are. I just need you here to support us both." "I will I'm getting on the plane now I love you!" "I love you too!" Fred hung up and I sighed placing the device in my purse.
Ginny and Jen came running in with the large binder.
"Thanks everyone come with me!" I said to the small group of friends that was still here.
They all got up and followed me to the hospital room in the back. I walked in to see Emilee smiling. I held up the binder and her face flushed.
"Mmomm." She groaned. I smirked and sat on the bed next to her. Everyone filled in and sat on what thy could or stood.
I opened the binder and faced it toward the group. A picture of a very tired but Happy me with a little bundle in my arms showed making everyone giggle.
"Emilee Parrilla. Sixteen inches long, and seven and a half pounds was born at one 'O two in the mourning on November 27 two thousand. My little pumpkin." Everyone giggled. I went through the book showing everyone the memories I put in this book. Some of which made Emilee try to take the book away but couldn't even sit up.
"Mom noo." Everyone laughed as I showed a picture of Emilee from three years ago covered in mud because she decided to play in the mud at the bottom of the slide after it had rained.
"This little one played in the mud with Lola after it rained when I told her to stay inside." I playfully glared at her. "Then guess who had to get the mud out of her hair? Me! It took about an hour to get all of it out." I teased poking her.

After showing the whole book everyone decided to go get lunch so Emilee and I were left alone in the room.
"You need to go get something to eat." She said gesturing to the door.
"Ya so do you." I looked at the clock on the wall to see that they would be bringing her food in a few moments.
"They'll bring mine." She wincing. All of my attention focused on her.
"What's wrong?" I asked studying her for any sign of potential injury.
"Nothing I moved the wrong way." I looked at her mid section to see blood soaking through.
"No you're not okay." I got up and pushed the call button and a nurse ran in.
"Is everything alright?" She asked.
"No she's bleeding through I don't think that should happen." My time shaking with worry as I showed her my daughters mid section.
"Alright. I'll get a doctor." She walked into the hall and asked someone to page him.
"Mom I'm fine I promise it doesn't hurt any more." She smiled weakly.
"No you're not. I know you hate the attention but you're going to get it." She nodded and turned her face away from me.
I frowned.
"Okay what's the problem? Oh I see. Tammy get a vac and more rapping." The nurse ran out and the doctor came and checked her vitals.
"Here it is." She placed the items down before pressing a button that made Emilees bed flat.
"Ok Ms. Parrilla I'm going to take your splint off and check your stitches." I watched as he worked and I got the first look at the incision on her left side where they had to correct the bones so they didn't move up and puncture anything.
It was a bloody mess.
"There we go." He whipped it up making Emilee start to panic. I grabbed her hand and moved her face so she was watching me.
"Hey. It's okay." I soothed and whipped away her tears. "Nothing to be afraid of." I smiled making her try to smile but the pain of being touched there to much for her.
He wrapped her back up and injected numbing medicine to.
"There she should be good. I'll be back in a few hours."
After he left I was playing with Emilees hair and watching as she fell asleep.
"Does Emilee not want to eat?" I looked up to see a nurse with a cart of food.
"Leave it on the small table when she wakes up I'll feed it to her." She nodded and placed the tray down along with meds in a small container.
After Emilee was all the way asleep I just played with her hair and watched her features as she slept. I don't remember the last time I actually just watched her sleep. Ya I remember a few times but I don't remember when the last time was.
"She's beautiful and a bit dirty." Hands messaged my shoulders.
