Nazir: "I'm going to kill him."

"As entertaining as that might be you can't."

"Last time I checked he wasn't immortal so I'm pretty sure I can kill him."

"Love, calm down." Nazir gently tangled his fingers in your hair. "It's just a couple of scratches. Nothing serious." He closed his eyes as you pressed a cloth to the 'scratch' over his right eye. "Besides Festus apologized, he didn't know that the spell would backfire like that. Usually his new spells don't cause such a problem."

Annoyed you glared at the Redguard, lips pressed into a thin line. "I don't care that he apologized, you could have been killed if you hadn't been so lucky." Opening his left eye he looked at you, his lips curling softly at the corners though clearly he was trying to fight it. "Oh you think it's funny?!"

"No! No, no I don't think it's funny." He quickly assured, "I just think that you when you're fussing over me and threatening to go harm someone for me is adorable." Nazir smiled warmly, pressing a kiss to your wrist.

"You think I'm adorable?" Removing the cloth you watch as he nods, pulling you close to him. "Are you sure you didn't hit your head or something?" You tease softly, pretending to check his head again.

"I'm sure, besides I'm fine now. I had an excellent nurse." Nazir praised, winking at you. "I love you Y/N."

"I love you too."

Veezara: You gently place the ice pack on the rapidly forming bump on his head. The pads of your fingers trailing over his cheek, seeking to comfort him in any way possible. He smiles at you, his hands on you hips, thumbs rubbing careless circles. "I'm sorry Veezara."

"It's fine my dear, I've told you that already. I know you didn't mean too." His voice steady as he continued his ministrations. You felt his tail coil loosely around your knee, you relaxed some at this.

"But I hurt you." You protested, your lips pouting. You were practicing some new moves with a shield and it went haywire. Everyone was still unsure of how it got over to Veezara but that was the least of your concerns as you rushed over to check on your other.

"Did you mean to?"

"No. But I-"

"No buts. You didn't mean to, so it's okay my love." He soothed, pulling you close to him dislodging the ice pack as he did so. "The swelling is gone down, there's only a little discomfort, everything is okay."

"Yes love." With tender fierceness you kissed him, your bodies melting together. "I'm glad you're okay."

"I am too. Although if you wanted to make up for it, I could use more of those kisses. A lot more." Veezara winked, his hands slipping to rest in the curve of your back.

Giggling you kiss him again, wrapping your arms around his neck. After all actions speak louder than words.
