Jeff and I chased each other through the forest as blue and red lights danced on our faces and illuminated the beauty of the forest. "This way!" He quietly laughed and strung me along as we laced our hands together again, mine fitting perfectly in his as he led me deeper into the forest. The lights now straying further and further away and the glow of the stars becoming more apparent as the only light to guide us. I began to come to a slow breathing a bit heavily from laughing and running as fast as my legs could weave between trees and over the fallen ones. Jeff was panting also as he stopped just a few steps away from me. "T-that was...great!" He said nearly out of breath and I only nodded with a smile feeling my lungs burn as I tried to catch as much air as possible. "I missed it." He said walking over to me and embracing me tightly and I returned the hug. We stayed there long enough until he both were fully recovered from lack of air. He pulled away a bit and brushed some of my hair away, that stuck to my face from the small droplets of sweat collecting on my skin. He rested his hand on my cheek loving and I could make out his smile....the genuine one. I smiled back and rested my hands on his chest. "I'm never letting you go...I swear there not a single force on this earth that could pry us apart...I won't let it happen." He pulled me into a strong kiss and pulled back to look at my face again. "I want you in my life again Y/n...I know this isn't quite the romantic of places but...I want you to be my girlfriend again." He said kind of looking away from me but then forcing himself to look at me again. I held the biggest smile. "Jeff...I thought the kiss at the park spoke for itself." I teased and he shrugged with a lightly chuckle. "I don't know...I guess so I just wanted to be sure I wasn't getting the wrong idea and I just wanted to make it official." He said now holding onto my hands that were on his chest. "I mean that kiss at the park was great but I don't know if it meant that we were-" I cut him off by yanking up forward again to kiss him. It seemed like we couldn't stop kissing each other...it's been so long. I pulled away but held his forehead against mine. "You talk to much." I smiled using the same phrase he tells me. He chuckled out again. "God, I love you...I love you so much." He said and with the last sentence he pulled me into a tight hug.

We approached the mansion porch hand in hand. I pulled on his arm a bit to get his attention. "Yes?" Jeff said looking to me as we continued walking. "Can we just wait a minute?" I asked coming to a stop and he did too with a confused look on his face. "What's wrong...you still want to be my girlfriend right?" He asked putting his hands on my shoulders I giggled at his idiotic question. "Yes Jeff, of course I do...but it's not that. I was just gonna ask you if you wanted everyone to know right away or if you wanted to-" he cut me off. "Let them know Y/n...I'm not embarrassed, how could I be? I have you by my side despite how monstrous I am yet you still love me for everything I am...I have nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to you." He said sounded so genuine and I smiled ear to ear. "I mean...if that's okay with you...I'd like everyone to know...I'd like to show you off." He said with a sly smile and a slight blush in his face mirroring mine. I kissed his cheek happily. "That was the cutest thing you've ever said." I chuckled. "I tell you cute things all the time!" He half glared in a playful way. "So...do we just come out and tell them or let them figure it out?" I asked. He thought about it. "I think they're old enough and smart enough to figure it out." He chuckled and I nodded. He gripped my hand in his placing a soft kiss above my knuckles and then kissed my forehead as we continued on to the main door.
I pushed open the door and Jeff led us through and as if on cue, Ben stumbled out of the living room with an empty pizza box. "Oh..hey you guys." He waved, licking his fingers of the pizza grease and crumbs. I made a face discreetly and waited for Ben to say something. "Okay...are you guys just gonna stand there?" He said confused and shifted his eyes. "Sure...I'll just take my girlfriend into the living room." Jeff said and it made me smile how at first he didn't want to say anything to anyone and let them figure it out but at the same time he wanted everyone to know and say something about it. "Okay?" Ben shrugged and walked into the kitchen. "Well...at least he's throwing the box." I shrug and follow Jeff into the leaving room to see two more empty pizza boxes, coke cans scattered everywhere and the TV set on pause from his glorious video games. I frowned. "Never mind..." I mumbled and Jeff laughed shaking his head and kicked the pizza box out of the path to the couch. We plopped down and Ben waltz back in. "So how was the kill tonight? Anything good?" He said resuming the game. "Yeah...it was great, me and Y/n made out a little, killed a little...you know." He said throwing his arm around me and my mouth hung open in shock as I elbowed him in the rib. "Ow, what?" He whispered. "What are you doing?" I whispered back. He shrugged. "I don't know...I just want to see what he has to say about it." He replied and I looked at him confused. "Oh cool...I was thinking about going later." Ben stated. "Aren't you surprised about anything? I mean there's something new here..." Jeff glared at the back of his head getting straight to the point. "Yeah, you and Y/n are together big whoop everyone knew it was gonna happen...quite frankly everyone thought it was gonna happen sooner.....I'm just glad I have the couch back because she'll be sleeping with you now." Ben replied not even looking away or batting an eye against the tv screen. Jeff threw an empty coke can at him nailing him in the back of the shoulder. "What?!" Ben paused the game and turned his head to Jeff. "What do you want me to say?! It's the truth? You guys were obviously in need of each other. You were upstairs beating yourself up and she was down here talking my ear off worried about you. You need each other and it's clear to see that....you're the 'it' couple...don't take this in the wrong way if no one is really surprised to see you guys together, it's as normal as peanut butter and jelly...no one really throws a big party for peanut butter and jelly yet everyone still loves it." Ben rolled his eyes and started playing again. I looked to Jeff and Jeff looked to me. "That was so nice, Ben." I said happily and Ben just waved me off over his shoulder. "Thanks Ben." Jeff said awkwardly. "Yeah, yeah, now give me the couch back." Ben said with a chuckle.
