Skye's POV

I was laying in bed, thinking about what mum said about Nathan and I. Is the connection really that obvious? I would doubt it.

No one has ever genuinely liked me in that way, and to find out Nathan does, well, that's nothing short of amazing.

I guess I really am atrractive to someone.

I soon got a text from Siva.

Siva - Has anyone asked you to the dance yet?

Me - Yeah, I have a date :)

Siva - Nice. Who asked ya

Me - Nathan

Siva - Good for you..I know you were ecsatic

Me - Eh, not really

Siva - The lies we tell

Me - Lies?

Siva - You know you were jumping off the walls when he asked you

Me - ..Ok you got me. I may or may have not jumped off the walls a little bit

Siva - Knew it

Me - Anyone ask you yet?

Siva - Nah. I might not go.

Me - Whyyy?!

Siva - No ones going to ask me. The girl I planned on asking has already been asked so whats the point

Me - So what she didn't ask you?!

Siva - Soo...I'm not going! It would be weird if I showed up with no date.

Me - I need you to be there in case shit goes wrong with either me or Alex

Siva - I'd rather not be your bodygaurd...

Me - I didn't mean it like that

Siva - What did you mean

Me - I just meant that you should come out and have a good time date or no date

Siva - I appreciate your encouragement Skye, I really do but I just don't wanna go.

Me - It wouldn't be the same without Siva the Diva

Siva - Siva the Diva? Really?

Me - Remember I didn't come up with the name, Alex did

Siva - Its a weird name

Me - It fits you

Siva - Hardee-har-har

Me - But anyway, if you dont wanna come to the dance, I understand.

Siva - Thanks

Me - I'll see you tomorrow

Siva - Bye

-

I sat my phone down after that and starting writing a song.

I grabbed my notebook and pencil and wrote away.

Hey,

I see your secret in your face

Did someone steal you away?

Is there someone else in my place

I don't like this game

I...I can see the dirt in your hands
