#41: How to; Christmas treats
If you are a fail at cooking like me, then I hope this tutorial will hopefully allow you to make some treats for your family or friends to eat this Christmas without burning down your kitchen in the process. Put on your chef hats and gather up your shit cause you are going to cook something.
If you want to do a little more and try something a tadd bit harder then try the medium tutorials, they're not as hard as the hard tutorial or as easy as the easy tutorials. But I'm sure you'll be able to pull it off if you try.
Some of you, however are master chefs - cooking experts who probably know how to use a kitchen. So If you think these recipes are tooooo easy for you then keep scrolling muffin, because there's some harder recipes down there.
There are two easy recipes, then two medium recipes and one hard recipe.
Enjoy! Please try your best to keep the kitchen out of fire but make sure your food is edible, because hey no one wants food poisining for Christmas.
Easy Recipes, for those who are completely clueless about cooking but still want to give it a go, cause you know yoloo.
1. Hot Cocoa // hot chocolate - Just perfect for a cold night in, with your fam bam.
Ingredients;
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup instant espresso powder
- 1 tbsp. vanilla essence
- 6 cups milk
- 2 cups half and half
- Whipped cream
- Marshmellows
How to make the heavenly drink;
Step 1.
Get a saucepan and put in on the stove on low heat. Take the 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup of sugar, ¼ cup of instant espresso powder, 1 tbsp. vanilla, 1 pinch of salt, and 1 cup of cold water and put in to the saucepan.
Step 2.
Stir the mix, until the cocoa powder is dissolved and it's all smooth and creamy.
Step 3.
Take 6 cups of warm milk into the mixture and continue mixing in the saucepan until it is really hot. Keep adding small amounts of milk that you have left and continue to mix until everything is blended properly.
Step 4.
Take the saucepan off heat and let it cool down. Once it is cool enough to touch poor into a cup, then top it off with some whipped cream, marshmellows and coco powder. You are done!
2. Butter Cookies - they're delicious, okay.
Ingredients;
- 1 pound butter, softened
- 1 & 1/2 cups white sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 4 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Sprinkles
