I dream;

I am an angel,

Soaring through the sky

Glorious wings burning in fire with a furious glow

I am a fallen star,

Snatched away ruthlessly from the galaxy

Thriving for earth, light never faltering,

Carrying destruction with me

I am the darkness,

Churning with nothingness,

Eating away every soul that is alight,

Swallowing emptiness,

I am a helpless gazelle,

Trotting through the woods, never stopping

Holding on to dear life

All hope flickers,

I am a lost soul

Grieving in starlight,

Searching the gravestones in faint nostalgia

The agony of dying hope echos,

I am the moon divine,

Casting a soothing flash

Healing wounds and cherishing glee alike,

A mere cracked beauty,

I am an escaped demon,

Darkness surrounding me,

Feasting on sorrows and memories,

Throwing a curtain of despair over fresh dreams

A hideous ecstatic conscience that overwhelms,

I am the pain itself,

Gnawing through my prey,

Consuming every moment of happiness,

Draining each drop of hope from the pulsing veins

A loathsome sight it is,

I am hunger,

Seeking refuge in the slums,

Casted out by the blessed,

Plastered on creased faces of boney figures,

Clawing deeper, thrusting them towards insanity,

I am fear,

Nesting inside the weaklings,

Lurking in narrow corners of dark alleys,

My roots firm, towering over raw ambitions,

I am HOPE,

A wondrous luminosity,

Casting a warm sheer glow,

A messenger of death to all that is dark,

A promise of a better tomorrow.
