Chapter 18 - First Date, First Fight

(LUCY'S POV)

Did he really just say that?

"Just play along, Natsu's on the door. I could help you," he whispered, not even a dragon slayer could hear that.

"I love you too, Sting."

Finally, in my apartment again! Thank god Natsu paid for my rent for the last 2 months. Also, Sting and I are going out for our first date today, we have to make it look real so why not? Besides Natsu is happy with Lisanna.

I made my way to the guild and sat in front of Mira's bar.

"Hey, Mira!"

"Heya Lucy! What are your plans for today?" she asked me while washing a cup.

"Nothing much, just a date with Sting," I replied casually.

Her face turned down a little, "I see," was all she said. Wonder what's up with her.

She cheered up again, "Anyways, I heard Natsu and Lisanna are going on a date today as well."

"Really now?" I said in an uninterested tone, I mean it's not like it's any of my business, right?

Just then . . . 

"Good morning everyone!" said a cheerful voice. Let me guess, Natsu and Lisanna?

It really was them.

To be completely honest, he didn't ignore me or anything, said hi, what's up and bye. So much for this pendant and friendship.

"I'll be leaving now Mira," I got up from my seat.

"So soon?"

"Yeah, I need to get ready for my date," I made up an excuse and left ASAP!

Actually, there is almost 3 hours before my date, I just don't wanna be around them. It makes me sad, I wonder why? I made my way back to the apartment, I want to spend as much as time possible here since it's been so long.

I took a nice, long shower and got ready in a casual sundress. Let my hair down and applied light make up. 

"I'm all set!" I turned to look at the time, "Also 30 minutes early," I sigh and sat on my bed. Let's just read a book for time pass.

I bet Natsu's having his fun with Lisanna. 

Why is Natsu being in a relationship making me so angry?
