It's been 3 years since Zane took Y/n to the Nether, there he took her memory and emotions.
Zane didn't exactly take her memories and emotions, more so locked them away and threw away the key.

He stored new, corrupted memories into her brain.
Everything she once thought was beautiful and bright was now crippled and dull in her eyes, she saw Zane as the one who saved her from the horrid village of Phoenix Drop. Not as the cruel, cold-hearted person he is.

Y/n was training with one of the 'higher rank' Shadow Knights, also known as Gene.
Y/n and Gene were...kinda friends, they have an off and on friendship.
one second they're laughing and having fun together, the next they wanna rip each other's throats out. They always fight over something stupid like who's better at fighting, who does the best pranks or who can run the fastest lap.
But they always come back together in the end.

But Y/n was also a 'higher rank' she was a bit higher than Gene but not too much, and that's another reason they start arguing.

Y/n panted as she leaned up against one of the many nether brick walls, "I....still....beat...you" she said between pants "As.....if...I...totally...won" Gene panted out "Yeah....right..." "Draw?" He asked "Draw" she smiled

"Well....that was a workout" she said grabbing her S/w off the cold nether brick floor, Y/n looked up at Gene with a sigh "do you ever wonder what the...over world is like?" She asked him "I thought were from the overworld" "I am..but...what it's like now...its been 3 years..." "Probably the same" he replied
"Yeah...I guess you're right, well I'll see you later, night" "night".

Y/n turned her heel and walked the oppisate direction towards the sleeping quarters.
As she got there she took off her armor and put it on its stand, she walked to her bed and layed down on the uncomfortable mattress.

'Maybe the overworld is the same...or maybe it isn't'
