The mission with Kent Nelson, the clay monster, and the Bialyan Desert quickly come and go. The twins weren't affected by the memory loss, but Kaldur was the last to regain his memories, and he was all dried out from the dry desert. The team just got back from the desert.

"...We don't have to head home right away," Artemis says.

"I am fine and will soon return home myself," Kaldur says.

"Recognized: Robin, B01. Kid Flash, B02. Artemis, B09."

They disappear as Kaldur turns to the occupants of the cave. "I am returning to Atlantis now and was wondering if you four would care to accompany me."

"We'd love to! I mean, I would..." Megan says.

"Sounds nice," Spook says.

"I don't mind," Phantom says.

"Thought you just went," Superboy scoffs.

"Yes, but I need—I want, to return more often," Kaldur says.

"So why wait to ask until after the others took off?" Superboy asks.

"I do not like to play games... but our friends would not do well with the extreme pressure at the bottom of the ocean. It seemed kinder not to make the offer in their presence."

"Whatever, let's go," Superboy says, walking towards the zeta tube.

"Actually, I thought we could take the scenic route," Kaldur says, heading to the hangar.

They load up onto the bioship and watch as the scene changes to a beautiful underwater temple.

"Oh wow! So pretty!" Spook and Phantom say with awe.

"Welcome to my birthplace. The Atlantean city-state of Shayeris."

"It's spectacular!" Megan exclaims.

Megan stands up and everyone looks down at her.

"Did you get shorter?" Phantom asks.

"It's the pressure. Even the bioship is smaller at this depth," Megan says.

"I hope you experience no discomfort..." Kaldur says.

"I'm fine, honest!" Megan says.

"Good, I have stocked the hold with more appropriate attire and rebreathers," Kaldur says.

"None for me, thanks," Megan says, transforming her neck into gills.

"Gills, nice touch," Phantom says.

Superboy is the only one who needed to wear a rebreather as they all exit the bioship. Kaldur leads the way.

'This is my parents' home, my home,' Kaldur telepathically says.

They enter the sea building to greet his parents. They speak in a language unknown to the ghost twins, so Megan pitches them in with her psychic abilities.

"Kaldur, you look thin," a gorgeous blonde woman greets, grasping both of Kaldur's hands.

"Mother, please..."

"Sha'lain'a let the boy breathe," a bald dark skinned male says.

"My friends, these are my parents, Sha'lain'a and Calvin Durham. Mother, father, meet Superboy, Phantom, Spook, and Miss Martian," Kaldur introduces.

"Please, call me M'gann."

"You speak Atlantean!" Calvin exclaims.

"Not really, but my psychic abilities enable me to translate and communicate," Megan says.
