Walking away from someone you love always gets mistaken for giving up, but sometimes that isn't the case. Sometimes you've simply had enough, enough of the lies and the games. Enough of giving yourself to someone and them taking it for granted. Enough of getting treated like no matter what you're always going to stay, no matter how hurt they made you.
Walking away doesn't mean you didn't or never loved them, because you do. But they didn't love you anymore and that's when you decided to start walking.
