Liliana's pov

"They've installed cameras." Meredith frowns as her, Cristina, and I look at the recently installed cameras that are now in every hospital room. Over these last couple of weeks Alana has been making many changes to the hospital and these cameras were just one of them.

"They're all over the C.C.U. Next they'll be in the O.R.s, the hallways, the on-call rooms." Cristina says making Meredith and I cringe at that last thought..

"We're being spied on. Who knows what evil lurks behind that electronic eye." I frown.

"Morning, Dr. Garcia." The camera says.

"Big Brother knows my name." I whisper.

"Big Brother can see your name tag." Meredith says pointing at my name tag, making me cover it up before we walk out of the room.

"The cameras are not here to spy on you. They are here to supplement you. On the other side of the camera is a remote physician, an extra set of eyes to help reduce mistakes, improve patient care, and maximize physician hours, now the initial program..." Alana says. All the attendings had been called to the OR where Alana was discussing the new rules and programs she was enforcing, half way through her speech I begin to zone out, because I don't really care what she has to say. Eventually she finishes and releases us from the meeting.

"You were right, she is a pain in the ass." Jackson says and I nod my head in agreement as we walk through the hallway.

"Closing the E.R. should cut down on time. We won't have any patients." Cristina mumbles.

"How's Hunt feel about that?" Jackson asks.

"Oh, he says he's not gonna do anything about it until it actually happens." Cristina says.

"Oh, it's happening." I say

"And he can't be a trauma surgeon without an E.R. Is he gonna leave town? 'Cause if you go with him, I'm screwed.I'm kind of depending on your rent check." Alex says

"Way to make this all about you." Cristina frowns.

"The E.R. is not going to close. Derek has a plan." Meredith says.

"Where is Derek?" I ask.

"He spent the night with Kepner." Meredith answers. I just shrug and mind my business. We all disburse and go our separate ways and I get paged a short while later for an emergent patient with an intracranial hemorrhage.

"What are the common causes of a intracranial hemorrhage!" I ask Shane as we operate.

"Bleeding tumors, head trauma, and ruptured cerebral aneurysm to name a few." He answers.

"Nice, and what are some possible lasting effects after an intracranial hemorrhage?" I ask.

"Paralysis, numbness or weakness in parts of the body, vision loss, confusion, memory loss."

"Impressive, now how would you like to make the incision?" I ask.

"Really, you want me to do the incision?"

"Yeah, I feel like you're ready. It's a simple task and I'm here if you make a mistake." I say.

"Okay." He sighs before requesting the scalpel and successfully making the incision.

"Good job Dr. Ross." I say before beginning to operate. Even though Shane can be irritating at times, he's one of the best interns this year and he's really interested in neuro, so I'm making the effort to teach him everything I can. We finish up surgery then I go to an on call room to get some rest and a short while later Jackson joins me.

"So I kind of went off on Cahill by accident." He says.

"What exactly happened?" I ask.

"Hunt paged me into the OR to assist him with one of his patients and I was ranting about everything that Cahill's been changing around here and next thing you know I look up and see that she's standing in the OR too."

"That sounds like something I would do." I laugh.

"No, you would hurt her feelings on purpose, not on accident." He smirks.

"Yeah, you're right." I agree. "Well do you want to waste our free time talking about Alana or do you want to have sex, because I'm stressed and I need some relief." I smile. He doesn't even answer, he just starts taking my clothes off. After spending a while in the on call room we both get paged for surgery. I have a patient that needs an aneurysm clipped, so I get scrubbed in and I perform the operation, once I finish I get scrubbed out before leaving to go to the locker room to get dressed and a short while later Jackson meets me in the locker room and gets dressed also. I wish I could say we were going home to get some rest, but we're actually meeting his mother for dinner so we can talk about our wedding plans, since she insists on being involved.

"I don't think I'm ready for this. I know you're mother is about to make this wedding planning process more difficult then it has to be." I sigh.

"It'll be fine. This is our wedding and if we disagree with her decisions we'll just tell her no." He shrugs.

"We can't just tell her no. We already had a disagreement with her about the prenup not to long ago and I'm not trying to deal with anymore drama." I sigh.

"Baby, I understand that you want to make my mom happy, but this is our wedding. It's about what makes us happy, okay?" He smiles caressing my hand with his.

"Okay." I nod. We make it to the restaurant and meet Catherine at our table.

"Hi. How are you two?" Catherine asks as we sit down.

"Great." Jackson and I both smile in unison before the waitress comes over and writes down our orders. We wait for our food, before we begin talking about wedding details.

"Okay, so for starters we need to set a date. I was thinking maybe sometime in November or December, so you two could have a winter wonderland themed wedding." She says excitedly:

"Um, actually we've discussed our wedding date and we would like to get married in the spring, so we were leaning more towards having our wedding in April." I say.

"But that's not to far away and we have a lot to plan, I mean we have so many guest to accommodate." She says.

"What do you mean so many guest. How many people are you trying to invite?" Jackson frowns.

"Well I'm still working on the list, but right now we're set to invite around 30" people." She says making me almost choke on my drink.

"We don't even know that many people." I cough.

"Well not on a personal level, but you've met a lot of them at different galas and functions you've attended."

"Mom, Liliana and I don't want a bunch of people that we barely know at our wedding. We've set a limit of 100 guest that we'll choose." He says sternly.

"Okay then." She agrees. I could tell she wasn't happy with that, but she knew Jackson wasn't budging. One of the things I loved about Jackson is that he isn't afraid to say what he feels and he has no problem standing up to anyone to make me happy. There's not a day that goes by that I regret accepting his proposal.
