Chapter 2

Y/N pov
After awhile hiccup came back with some bandages and some fish since the night fury was here  still and maybe I could grab one to eat as well .He carried a small bag that was full with different bottles and herbs to a rock near me . I opened my wings alittle so I could see what he was doing and it got me curious , as I watched him take bags of something and bottles out of the bag I unwrapped my wing completely so I could watch him and he was so surprised but I noticed that he is pretending not to be surprised as he saw that my wings where pulled back . " y/n , I have the medicine all fixed up so I just need you to trust me while I fix your wounds ok?" He asked me and I hesitated but I   nodded as I watched him gently grab my wing and he began to clean the dried blood and scraps on my delicate but strong wings . He pressed alittle to hard on a sensitive spot on my wing causing me to pull it away from him " ow!" I hissed " I'm so sorry !!!" He said freaking out . I gave him back my wing and he continued but we sat in silence for a while but that was unbearable " so hiccup what do you do in your village?" I asked out of the blue " well I am a apprentice blacksmith and my dad is planing on putting me in this dragon training thing where you learn to kill dragons but I can't kill a dragon." Hiccup looked down like not being able to kill a dragon was a bad thing." Killing dragons is a bad thing but not being able to is the greatest in the world." I protested, he jumped back a little at my sudden out burst. " sorry " I apologized wrapping my wings around me again he said it was ok as it began to get darker and he had to leave. I watched him leave , I thought he was kinda cute but still. I was going to leave when my wing heals, I just needed to rest and find some food. I looked over to the nightfury and saw had left a few fish in the bag hiccup left and I went to grab the bad and it growled at me but I growled back and I grabbed the few fish left and took it to my spot in the cove . I stabbed a stick threw it and I opened my palm and created a small fire that sat in my palm and I slowly cooked the fish and I ate them before the dragon across the pond can come over and take them . After I got my belly full I gathered sticks and wood to make a fire to keep warm . I made my fire and I carefully wrapped my wings around me since they were alittle sore from the trama they've been though the past few days . Then next day came and I waited for hiccup for hours and hours until he finally showed up . " hi hiccup! How are your doing ..??" I asked as he climbed down through a crack in the cove "I'm doing ok ... but how about you? Did the bandages hold up over night?" He asked as he grabbed my wing softly and out of instinct my wings moved and pushed him away ." Hiccup!" I shrieked as I grabbed him and I picked him up and helped him stand up . " are you ok?? I'm sorry ! I didn't mean to do that i just don't like my wings touched really ." I said and he told me he was ok and I sat down on my rock so he can clean more of my cuts . He used a small bowl of water and a cloth to clean the dirt from my face and it touched a cut on my cheek ." Ow !" I wined and my wings hit him again but he said he was fine again and continued to help clean my wounds." What do you do for fun ?" I asked hiccup as he wrapped my arm " well , nothing really ... the village doesn't really like me but I do like to make things like the net that ..caught.... you................. sorry !" He said to me nervously and I told him it was fine . The sooner I am healed the quicker I could fly and I can go to new lands ! "What do you do for fun?" He asked me and I thought of what I do when I get bored " well .. I would fly so high that it would be above the clouds and I would just stop flying and just fall! I'd fall until I got closer to the water or land and id open my wings and would swoop up and shoot back up into the air ." I said and hiccup didn't say anything he just looked surprised and nodded since I think he didn't know what to say ." How do you have wings and a tail?" He asked me and told him " well , I was born with it ! My
Mother was just like me and the story's she told me was about how her side of the family looked and acted like her and I . But I was separated from her when I was little ..." I said and hiccup nodded " my mother died from a dragon taking her ... I was little when she was taken but I was raised by my father the chieftain of my village ." I nodded as we both didn't talk as we just sat there since he finished everything with me ."
Two months later
My wing was finally healed but it left a small scar but it didn't matter ! They were my battle wounds and I liked them , if I hadn't gotten hurt then I wouldn't have met hiccup. Over the passed two months I had been helping hiccup with the nightfury ,toothless ' yeah he named the nightfury' I flew with hiccup but it was when he was learning to glide on toothless that the cheat sheet he had to remember what move to do next for toothlesses tail almost flew away but I brought it back to him . " so hiccup I think it's...." I tried to tell him that I was going to leave but he lost his sheet and began to fall then when he got back on toothless they pulled back but they were going to fast a there  were rocks as hiccup gave up on trying to remember the movements and they moved as one as they maneuvered thru the rocks at a fast speed. " sorry Y/N what where you saying?" Hiccup asked trying to ignore the fact he did something that was extremely impressive " um... I think it is time I leave hiccup ." I told him. His smile Faded away when I said that " why?" He asked ask we flew closer to the cove. " I would stay but I just feel that there is something out there that I need to find, hiccup." Told him but as I looked at his face he had a tear forming. " hey don't be sad .im not going away for ever but just awhile I'll come back soon." I said with a smile he just gave a small smile.
Hiccup pov
We both landed and we both said our goodbyes and then we hugged each other. I couldn't believe she is leaving then when we where going to separate she kissed me on the cheek and began to flap her wing." See you soon" she told me blushing as well while waving her hand flying away into the sky. I just watched her sadly as I saw her fly away and toothless was sad too he tried to follow her but he couldn't " she said she will be back soon bud..." I said and I left toothless at the cove and went back to the village.
