A Strange Reader

Chapter - 5

"LOL! My apartment has a provision of lift, dear and I'm lucky for it", she answered.

"But you told me there's a power cut in your area?" I asked.

"Yeah, exactly! But, we're blessed to have a generator too :D"

"What the hell? It's always she, who wins!
I must be smarter and wise, this time", I motivated myself.

"Fine, no worrries. It's my turn now", I replied her.

There wasn't any text from her.
"Hey, you there?" I asked.

"I'm sorry. I actually got hurt and so, couldn't text you back", she sent.

"What happened? Are you fine?"

"Yeah. An ant bit me and I'm bleeding."

What? What bit her? And she's bleeding for an ant bite?
Just an ant bite could make a person bleed, I never knew this.

"It was a wild ant, I suppose?" I asked her.

"Nope. A small one."

"Something is seriously wrong with this girl now! Either she wants to fool me and gave fun, or she could be a dimwit", I told myself.

Just then, I screamed and stood up from my bed.
I felt like something bit me.
"Oh no! My leg is bleeding!"
An ant, that too a small one bit my leg.

"Hey Estelle, do you know what? I'm bleeding too.
The strange coincidence is that I was bit by an ant too!" I was laughing with a thrilling experience out of weird coincidences between us.

"May be we share strange bond :D" She replied me.

"Let's go to sleep now.
I'm drowsy, good night!" was the next text of hers.

"Yeah, me too! Good night and coincident dreams!" I replied.
