Chapter - 29

Jackie's POV :

After all, what did Bella go to the James Street for?
If my guess was right, then why couldn't I find anybody else there?
I think I'll have to clear everything up with her now.

"Bella, are you awake?" I asked.

"Yes mom, I am. Tell me", she answered.

"I know that you haven't been to the library. What were you doing alone there?"

"Me? How do you know that I was alone, mom?
You were at home, if I'm not wrong?"

"Umm.. Actually, I was worried for you honey and so, followed you."

"I knew mom. By the way, I wasn't alone. Promise me, you're not gonna tell anyone."

"Okay, tell me now", I told with a fear, hoping my guess turns to be wrong.

"It's actually that I went to collect my wallet and watch from a girl, Estelle.
She found it near the subway, James Street.
Due to some security reasons, she didn't want her identity to be revealed to anybody", she told.

Oh no! God, my guess came true.
But why couldn't I see Estelle, when Bella could?

May be she made herself visible only to her.
I must save my girl from Estelle now. I can't leave her in the death trap.
How do I do it? Doctor warned me to keep the past away from her, failing which could turn harmful to her.

I have a plan!
No other choice, I have to do this! Sorry Estelle. No doubt you're my daughter too, but I can't let you harm my girl.

Bella's POV :

Why didn't mom react? She just remained silent and left my room.
May be it wasn't only her worry for me, that drove her to the James Street.

As soon as she went, my phone rang.

"Bella, can you urgently meet me?
I'm in need of you. Please come to the Adams Avenue.
I'll be waiting for you", Estelle told.

"Okay, I'll be there within a few minutes", I told her and left my home.
