When I woke up the next morning, Luca was facing the other way. I propped myself up on my elbow and grinned down at him. He was fast asleep, nuzzling his face into one of my pillows and occasionally let out a small snore.

He was freaking cute.

I crawled out of my bed and stopped in front of the sink mirror. My hair had curled in really awkward spots, since I had gone to bed with it damp and my face had a red handprint. I had fallen asleep with my palm to my face.

After taking a quick hot shower, I brushed my teeth and contemplated what to make for breakfast as I walked out of the room. The bed had been made and it was now empty; Luca wasn't in the room either.

I frowned, walking over to the kitchen and raised an eyebrow at him. He was looking out the window with a cup of coffee in hand and spoke into his phone with the other. He paced back and forth, his naked back to me.

For a second I had one of those flash-forwards to life, where you picture what life would be like with the people you cared for – and the part Luca fit into my life was something I liked. He seemed to fit in perfectly.

"Yes," He nodded to himself, "I believe she just needs to revise her will. How much for it?" He chuckled softly. "Thank you, Frank." He ended the call and placed the phone beside him, still not aware of my presence in the kitchen.

I watched quietly as he lifted the cup up to his lips and slowly drank it. He wasn't even trying and he looked hot as hell. I grinned, walking over to him. "Good morning!"

Luca turned around to look at me and smiled, "Good morning, hermosa. How did you sleep?"

"Good," he placed the cup on the counter and pulled me in for a warm embrace, "what about you?"

"I slept great. How was your shower?"

I shrugged, smiling up at his goofy grin. "It was lonely."

He leaned down, pecking my lips. "Maybe if you had woken me up you wouldn't have been alone."

"You looked peaceful," I wrapped my arms around his shoulders, "I didn't want to bother you."

"You never bother me, hermosa." He glanced over at the coffee pot and said, "I made you coffee."

I grinned, nodding and walked over to the pot to pour some coffee. I preferred drinking mine with lots of milk and sugar, so it basically wasn't coffee. "So, who were you talking to?"

"On the phone?" He raised an eyebrow and I nodded in response, blowing my cup. "My lawyer. I know Mrs. Maggie wanted to alter her will and he's one of the best lawyers I know."

My smile widened. He was so fücking thoughtful. "You didn't have to do that."

He shrugged an arm, taking a sip from his cup. "I didn't mind. I know she means a lot to you. I just want you to be happy."

My heart stopped in my chest for a millisecond and I fought every nerve in my body to not catch my breath like a dramatic pendeja. He had to know what he was doing to me because it was torturous.

"Thank you," I whispered.

Luca walked over to me and pressed a gentle kiss to my temple. "There's nothing to thank, hermosa." He stepped back, clearing his throat. "Would you like to go out for breakfast or eat here? I have to go home and change into my clothes, so we can go meet with Mrs. Maggie and Frank."
