After days of being docked, and getting things repaired and ready, we were about to leave back into the ocean. The thought of having to go back there made me shiver, but I had to go with it since I needed Caspian's help to find the Obsidian room.

The ship started to sail off the docks, and I walked up to Caspian who was at the helm of the ship. I was the first one to speak, my voice serious, "I want my key back."

"Darlin'," He turned his gaze to me, one hand on the large wheel. "I'll keep the key with me."

"You have no reason to have it."

"Yer right," He grinned. "I like the upper hand, lass. If yer disobey my rules, yer never see this key again."

"It's my fathers!"

"Then behave," He chuckled. "And control yer temper."

I stomped my foot angrily, and I stormed off.

Bear, like a puppy he was, would be playful with me and I would play with him. When things began to get boring I would train him own to do tricks, and then give him a small treat. He was such a loving creature, why would anyone ever hurt him?

"You're so cute," I cooed the puppy as I was kneeled on the ground, scratching his belly. His tongue was hanging out the side of his mouth and his tail wagged, an indication of a happy dog. I didn't want his fur long, however. Maybe I should trim it, it would make him happier and cooler in the heat.

Theodore walked up, and seeing the small puppy he couldn't help but grin. "I never would have thought you would have brung the pup on board."

"Why not? He is adorable," I let the puppy roll back onto his four paws. "Plus when he grows up I want him to be my guard dog from all these men," I kissed the puppies head. "I think it would be great for him, I heard that he's a water dog. That is all I know about him."

"All dogs are different, no matter what the breed," Theodore shrugged casually. "I think you will raise him fine, Miss. Shay."

"Thanks Theodore," I smiled and stood back onto my feet. "Bear, sit."

The puppy stood and looked at me, his eyes bright, but didn't sit.

I sighed.

Other than playing with Bear I would wander around the ship and see if there was any other way I could help. Of course, as usual, they didn't want help from a woman. Even Amul was busy so I couldn't talk with him, so the whole-time I stood near the helm and looked out into the ocean.

I was tired of this silence between Caspian and I, so when a question came to mind I couldn't help but ask. "Where are we going?"

"If we are to search for a room such as this one, we will need someone who has... experience in searching sites such as this," He turned his green gaze. "I have a contact on an island that may perhaps know what yer talking about."

"Is this a crazy old man or something?"

"Nuts," He grinned. "He has been alone for decades, yer would go insane as well for being alone for a stretch of time."

"Fair point," I shrugged. "What if he doesn't know anything about it?"

"We're in for a long trip."

He also had a point there as well.

"How long is the trip there?"

"If the weather is fair, a month."

Bear whimpered by my side, looking for attention. I gave him what he wanted and petted his head with a gentle smile. Such a cute pup.
