This was absolutely ridiculous...Barry and I were a bit distant towards one another since the whole sleeping together and trying to keep our relationship professional. Right now Felicity was going through my closet hoping to find the best dress for tonight's dinner that I really didn't feel like going to but I promised Barry that I wouldn't make him be the fifth wheel. Felicity was mumbling on about how perfect this was going to be tonight but then when she turned to look at me her expression changed.

"Lexxy...are you listening to me?" she asked I snapped free from my gaze then just gave her a small nod but I could tell she wasn't convinced. She moved over towards me sitting next to me on the bed, her gaze was on me and I sighed sharply. "Girl...what is wrong with you? Is it Barry? Because if it is then I'll have a long...."
"It's not Barry he's a great guy, the best...it's me Felicity. I just don't think that I am ready to get back out there yet." I started tightening my grip on my arms when I felt Felicity touch my shoulder.
"If he's a great guy then what is wrong? Dean wouldn't want you to just give up on finding love again." Felicity reminded I could sense Dean's presence from the opposite side of the room looking at me.
"It's just everything with the Reverse Flash...then the Metas then dealing with the criminals and finally working at the CCPD, it's too much. Plus Barry and I both agreed it would be best to keep our relationship professional." I exclaimed Felicity gave me a hard stare that told me that she wasn't convinced by what I said.

"That's not just it isn't it? There is something more isn't there?" she replied touching the bedding in her hand feeling it slipped through the small hole that I forgot was still there. She looked down seeing the singed hole in my bed then she looked back up at me with a shocked look on her face. "Did you...you didn't..."
"Yes okay....yes Barry and I had a moment a few nights ago but we both agreed to keep our relationship professional. We both had a moment of weakness okay." I answered standing up moving away from her and kept my back forward.
"Lex...for the one year that we've known each other I watched you focus on one thing and one thing only; taking down the evil speedster that killed Dean. Then Barry runs into your life and I watched your focus change. If you really care about Barry more than just as protective and professional reasons then go for it. If anything you two have a lot more in common than you think...all you need to do is let him in." Felicity explained I looked down for a moment then at the corner of my eye I saw the picture of Dean and I on my bedside table. Glancing over I saw the slight image of Dean standing next to me, he had a smile on his face and I could sense his voice now.
"Let him in...be happy." Dean's voice whispered I closed my eye and wiped away the tear that fell across my cheek. When I reopened my eyes Dean was gone and I turned around to look at her then nodded at her in agreement.

"You know what...you are right. But I have the perfect dress." I smiled moving towards my closet, I pushed the work clothes to the side until I exposed the dress I bought so long ago. Taking it into my hands I showed it to Felicity who could only applaud and giggle with pure glee.
"Absolutely perfect...well I got to go get ready myself...Barry should be here within a few hours. See you at the restaurant." Felicity smiled I moved with her to the entrance opening the door and then touched her shoulder with my hand.
"Thank you Felicity...you sure know how to work that magic of yours. I'll see you at dinner." I smiled she winked and turned heading down the hallway before disappearing. I closed the door pinning my back to the door and took in a deep breath and the only thing that was on my mind was I really just hope that Barry agrees.
