Chapter Nineteen.

Chapter Nineteen:-

It was just me and pool guy in the park, alone. Brooke had to leave because her parents needed her. Brooke and pool guy talked a lot and I think they really like each other, like, in a friendly way.

"Want some ice cream?" Pool guy asked.

"Sure." I smiled at him.

We walked to the closest ice cream shop and we waited for our turn. When it was our turn, he got chocolate ice cream while I got coffee. We argued about who's going to pay, but at the end, he won. We sat down together and we just started eating our ice cream.

"So.." he started, "how are you and your boyfriend?" He asked.

"We're okay, I guess." I replied.

"What happened?"

"We kind of, fought. Yeah, we fought."

"Oh, sorry." He smiled at me.

"Its okay." I smiled back.

We stayed quiet for a few minutes, it wasn't really awkward, it was like, the comfortable silence.

We were in front of my house, after hanging out for about two hours.

"I had fun, thankyou."

"I'm happy you enjoyed today." Pool guy replied. "By the way, I'm picking you up tomorrow."

"Why?" I asked.

"We're going to the pool." He replied. "Where we first met."

I smiled, remembering the day we first saw each other.

"Okay, sure." I said. "Oh, can you tell me your name now?"

"My name is Alex."

"Okay."

We hugged and then he left.

I entered the house while smiling, when I turned around to close the door, I heard someone saying,

"Had fun with your friend?"

I turned around.

Yes, it was Mason.

"Yes, I did have fun, thankyou for asking." I locked the door and was about to go upstairs, but he pulled me back.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay?" He looked at me, "please, give me one more chance."

I thought about it for a second, giving him a second chance is a good idea, but I just hope he changes.

"Fine." I rolled my eyes, "only one more chance."

"Thankyou." He pulled me in for a hug. "I missed you so much."

I hugged him back and smiled, "missed you too."
