Everyone within the grand meeting halls of the Burial Grounds Sect looks at each other as if they thought that if they stared long enough at each other they would eventually find an explanation to give to Xie Mo Xin.

"Dammit why didn't you tell us about him sooner?"

"We should have sent in more elders during this trip..."

"It's too late for regrets..."

"Even if our two patriarch come out..."

Just as everyone is down and depressed a cold wind blows into the halls. Along with the cold breeze a dark robed figure can be seen standing at the entrance of the hall.

"...!"

There was no need for anyone to ask who this figure was seeing as how Long Xing He and Elder Shu had both shot up to their feet in greeting with utter respect.

"Greetings senior Xie!"

"Greetings senior Xie!"

Following the greetings from Long Xing He and Elder Shu everyone else quickly got up and did the same.

Xie Mo Xin doesn't speak and merely nods while waving for them to sit.

"S-Senior w-we..."

Long Xing He was just about to explain about the situation concerning Ye Gui Feng but Xie Mo Xin waves his hand once more.

"Xiao Feng is on his way back as we speak."

It felt as if a heavy mountain had been lifted off everyone's shoulders upon Xie Mo Xin saying this. This was especially so for Long Xing He and even more so for Elder Shu.

"In any case you needn't worry about his well-being for now. I've imposed upon you all for taking him in it seems."

"No, senior you needn't worry about this. We are happy to help nurture him."

Xie Mo Xin smiles beneath his hood while giving a slight nod.

Inwardly both Elder Shu and Long Xing He can't help but curse a bit as Ye Gui Feng is just like a time bomb that would randomly go off without warning.

"His talent is not Crowned Disciple material so it will take him a while but the day that he reaches the Nascent Soul realm equivalence in his cultivation I will personally come to take him back with me to the Heavenly Demon Sect. Naturally I will not forget the debt that I will owe to the Burial Grounds Sect."

Xie Mo Xin seemingly smiles beneath his hood and speaks.

"How about this then? There is an elder position opening in my Yāo Xian Pài (妖仙派 Translation: Demon Immortal Faction). This shall count as payment for Xiao Feng's care."

Hearing this everyone sucks in a breath of cold air. The Demon Immortal Faction is the number one faction within the Heavenly Demon Sect. 

To be able to obtain a position of an elder in there would mean that the Burial Grounds Sect will rise to the upper levels of the cultivation world.

For the Burial Grounds Sect to have gained its current position as a middle tier sect in the Moon and Stars Kingdom took many passing generations.

If nurturing Ye Gui Feng is their path towards the position of becoming a high tier sect then they will absolutely put all their efforts into it.

"Alright, I won't over stay my welcome."

Turning around Xie Mo Xin throws back his sleeve and vanishes with a dark gale. His sudden appearance in the meeting hall followed by his abrupt disappearance after telling the Burial Grounds Sect their reward causes everyone to look on with a dumbfounded expression as their brains work to catch up to the situation.

"A-An elder position in the Demon Immortal Faction?"

It took few seconds for everyone to catch their breath before looking around in excitement at their fellow peers.

"No that's not important. Send words down to the sect. All disciples are to come out and properly welcome Ye Gui Feng back! Give him a hero's welcome!"

Without tardy the elders quickly got to work in preparation for Ye Gui Feng's return. They knew how important it was for Ye Gui Feng to feel like a hero within this sect considering his special identity.

"Achoo!"

Ye Gui Feng sneezes while looking around.

"What's going on? Why am I sneezing so often? Did I catch a cold?"

As he didn't want to spend a night out in the forest Ye Gui Feng hurried along with his travels. With Xiao Ju Hong present hardly any magic beast would dare to approach him.

By nightfall Ye Gui Feng has already made it to the front of the sect's familiar gates. Taking out his identification medallion the gate opens inwards.

Walking down the long set stairs Ye Gui Feng eventually makes it out into the opened areas of the sect's center.

"Hm?"

Standing at the front center of the sect Ye Gui Feng's eyes open wide while blinking. He had the face of a lost child as he looks on with his eyebrows furrowed upwards.

[Welcome back senior brother Ye!]

A thunderous welcome greets him as Ye Gui Feng feels like a bunch of alarms had just gone off in his head.

(Wh-What is this? What happened? Why are they all greeting me? Th-This...)

This was too sudden and too strange causing Ye Gui Feng to be dumbfound. Amongst the massive crowd he spots a few familiar faces.

Surprisingly Long Huangrong is amongst them and when he saw her face Ye Gui Feng was even more shocked. She actually had a bit of tears in her eyes!

(I-Impossible such a greeting is something that only the main character should receive. B-But they clearly said my name...)

Those in the crowd are inwardly all dumbfound. They didn't know why everyone had to be gathered up for this greeting.

The name Ye Gui Feng had come up in small conversations amongst those who had returned from the Nine Dragons' Vault but most still didn't dare to believe in the rumors.

From the sea of people Long Xing He walks forth with Elder Shu behind him to his left. To the right of the sect master is the second biggest elder in status, Cài Wén Míng (蔡文明).

Knowing how important it was to make a first impression Cai Wen Ming had put on his best smile for the occasion.

"Senior disciple Ye Gui Feng come forth!"

Long Xing He's voice echoes out for all to hear clearly as he calls for Ye Gui Feng to come towards him.

Without tardy Ye Gui Feng walks to stand in front of Long Xing He. He is still confused by why this is happening.

(Is it because I saved Long Huangrong? Or...)

The elders had worked out a plan to give this event an explanation prior to Ye Gui Feng's return.

"For your deeds in the Nine Dragons' Vault I bestow upon you the title of Honorary Disciple!"
