Various bloodlines from various different clans have married into the Yao family in the past and this makes it so that the current bloodline isn't a pure direct descendant of the ancestor, Yao Zhen Tian.

"I only have this one son as my relative. If something should happen to him on this trip..."

Yao Xie Xian puts up a hand and begins to speak.

"No need to continue. Nephew Xieshen will be compensated for his troubles as it is rightfully so."

With a glare Yao Xie Xian looks to Ye Gui Feng.
