"...Nn?"

Opening his eyes Ye Gui Feng finds himself under the shade of a tree. But this isn't the place that he had fainted.

The trees here are all taller and their crowns easily cover up the light of the sky. The time of day is slightly pass midnight.

"Hm?"

Bushes are disturbed as the figure of a raven haired, blood red eyed girl emerges from within the darkness.

"You...?"

"..."

Quietly approaching Ye Gui Feng Yao Xue Hua takes out a fruit from within her storage bag and places it near the boy's mouth.

(Ah I really am being treated like a dog aren't I? Oh well I don't mind since I'm being fed by a pretty girl.)

It might be considered shameless but Ye Gui Feng didn't care as he takes a bite of the fruit. It is surprisingly sweet and being fed it made it all the better.

An hour goes by with Ye Gui Feng being fed fruits from the hand of Yao Xue Hua.

Upon eating to his full Ye Gui Feng finally asks Yao Xue Hua the question that's been on his mind throughout this entire time.

"What is your name?"

"...Yao Xue Hua."

"Hm? I still prefer calling you Xiao Ju Hong."

Yao Xue Hua tilts her head as she looks at Ye Gui Feng quizzically.

"My name is Ye Gui Feng but in the Yao family they would call me Yao Xieshen instead."

"Hmm I don't really care much about what you'd call me. Either name you choose to call me by is fine, but I feel like calling you Xiao Ju Hong instead of your actual name."

A light smile forms on Ye Gui Feng's face as he says this.

As it felt awkward to chat while having Xiao Ju Hong crouched Ye Gui Feng asks her to sit down.

This reminds Ye Gui Feng of his time in the Burial Grounds Sect where Xiao Ju Hong would sit by his side as he practices cultivation.

Their topic of conversation changes often. They never stuck to one topic for long. It was mainly centered around a bit of personal history and interests.

Although interests on Xiao Ju Hong's part is rather low. Outside of cultivation she didn't do much else.

Perhaps something like this should have been expected of a high class family's princess as Long Huangrong had been the same.

But Xiao Ju Hong didn't seem like she is cultivating to succeed her father.

The role of clan chief is selected through an election by the Yao family's clansmen so it is not inherited from father to child.

Of course qualifications are the first thing that comes to mind before this voting takes place giving the clansmen only a handful of options.

"Hmm for a princess you really don't feel like one when I'm talking to you."

Xiao Ju Hong would probably fit the definition of a sheltered princess that hasn't seen much of the outside world. But when one takes into her experience in combat it really makes it hard to imagine that image.

"Then how do I appear...?"

In Ye Gui Feng's eyes Xiao Ju Hong's personality as a person is quite simplistic and pure. This makes her...
