A Happy Release from the Pain of Living

"Hm?"

Wei Hailan and Long Xing He presses their eyebrows together as they look to the distance to find six warships approaching their direction.

"The Nirvanic Stream Sect and the Heavenly Scripture Sect have come as well."

"Hmph. Fine let them come. I was just beginning to think that this might be a bit too one sided."

The six patriarchs of the Burial Grounds Sect all look on with coldness as they snort.

"Can't we use the poisoned core Jiangshi to deal with them?"

"Not possible. We're saving all the poison for the Icy Winds Sect."

"Sect disciples with me! We'll hold them back as the others break the barrier!"

Wei Hailan, Yang Jian Hao, and Patriarch Dun began to take a large number of disciples to hold off the incoming enemies.

Seeing the sight of the other two righteous sects arriving caused hope to well up within the hearts of the Icy Winds Sect's disciples as they grit their teeth with renewed determination to hold this barrier until their Divine Ancestor breaks through his bottleneck.

"Tch. This just got far more troublesome..."

Yao Xieshen's eyes turn bloodshot as he unleashes his Ghostly Spirit Body.

"The more that I slaughter the stronger that I'll get. Since they've brought themselves up to my plate then I'll help myself to them."

Calling over Emperor Du Lou Yao Xieshen takes flight towards the distance as he heads to join in on the attack!

"Burial Grounds Sect's scums die!"

"We'll never let you have your way with this land!"

The righteous sect disciples that had held themselves back from making a move as they watch the Icy Winds Sect's disciple's misfortune all erupt with rage as they charged off of the warships!

Within a few minutes the entire skies are littered with bursts of fire and explosions as the two sides engage the other in battle.

Yao Xieshen rotating his cultivation base absorbs all of the souls that had fallen in battle with Emperor Du Lou by his side.

With a wave of his hand Yao Xieshen activates the Blood God Domain causing the Blood God Avatar to appear in the form of an illusory blood red phantom behind his back!

The blood of the fallen quickly gathers in the form of streams. As they gather around Yao Xieshen the blood join together to form a 100 meter sword!

Emperor Du Lou's eyes flash red as it takes hold of the blood sword.

"Give me your souls!"

At Yao Xieshen's command for souls Emperor Du Lou with a single wide arc swing divides the bodies of 60 practitioners that had been unfortunate enough to be close by!

Popping a pill into his mouth Yao Xieshen swallows it. With the Blood God Avatar behind his back his entire body gives off an eerie blood red shine.

The Ghostly Spirit Ring shines as Yao Xieshen waves his right hand. A swarm of ghostly spirits appear in the blink of an eye as they howl and charge out to attack the enemy sect disciples!

Slapping his storage bag Lieyan Bao Long is also drawn out to stand afloat behind Yao Xieshen who readily takes on a seated position and begins to absorb the souls of the dead along with the blood that's in the area.

Using Lieyan Bao Long as his protector and Emperor Du Lou as his slaughterer Yao Xieshen relaxes in the midst of the battlefield as he cultivates.

The more that falls in this battle the stronger Yao Xieshen becomes as his cultivation begins to show signs of breaking through into the next level.

"What the hell is this!?"

"Uh!"

Wielding the blood sword in its hands Emperor Du Lou easily slaughters the practitioners of the two newly arrived forces.

Ri Ming Ren who sees Emperor Du Lou on the battlefield is shocked but quickly chooses to intercept it as he teleports and got between the blood sword and a few disciples.

"This Jiangshi must belong to that Ye Gui Feng."

Shen Guangzi appears as well and with Ri Ming Ren the two began to attack and push back Emperor Du Lou.

"..."

In the midst of his cultivation Yao Xieshen's eyes twitch as he sees from Emperor Du Lou's point of view.

"Hmph."

Pouring more magic energy to Emperor Du Lou Yao Xieshen causes the blood sword to expand to a length of 700 meters!

Tossing a mouthful of pills into his mouth Yao Xieshen continues to pour more magic energy into Emperor Du Lou before topping it off with half of his reserved demonic energy that he's been accumulating since this entire time.

This causes Emperor Du Lou to explode with a demonic aura as it breaths out an air of cold black mist.

Gripping the giant blood sword in its two hands Emperor Du Lou swings it in the direction of Shen Guangzi and Ri Ming Ren!

"Hmph what's the point if it can't hit?"

The two patriarchs readily teleport to evade but-

The massive 700 meter sword is flip by 90 degrees as it closes in on the two patriarchs in a fashion that's similar to a fly swatter!

Shen Guangzi didn't have time to react before he is swatted by the giant blood sword!

The power behind this attack would be similar to being hit with a full sized mountain causing Shen Guangzi's entire body to flatten from the impact!

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!* Shen Guangzi's body crashes down to earth as he comes to a sliding stop.

From head to toe Shen Guangzi's entire body is covered up in his own blood and all of his bones had just been smashed into pieces from that single hit!

"Th-This..."

Ri Ming Ren who had been lucky to evade that attack felt his scalp turn numb seeing the sight of Shen Guangzi's battered body.

Ri Ming Ren has no idea if Shen Guangzi is even alive after being hit by that but he didn't have the time to feel concern as he quickly redirects his attention back to Emperor Du Lou and begins to retreat.

Yao Xieshen's complexion pales as he takes yet another mouthful of pills. He can tell that the effects of these pills are starting to weaken as his body has developed more immunity to their effects.

"Dammit."

Yao Xieshen quickly sends Emperor Du Lou to finish off Shen Guangzi with a single stab of the blood sword that had shrank down to the size of a great sword.

Upon Shen Guangzi's soul emerging from his body Yao Xieshen quickly has Emperor Du Lou bring it to him.

Within a flash the body of the Jiangshi reappears by Yao Xieshen 's side with the soul in hand.

Absorbing the soul of the Body Separation realm practitioner Yao Xieshen's cultivation base rises to the 35th level of Qi Condensation before he eyes Ri Ming Ren.

"Since you've come here then don't even think about running away anymore. Today allow your Ye-mou to give you all a happy release from the pain of living."

Sending Emperor Du Lou to chase after Ri Ming Ren Yao Xieshen continues to cultivate as he heads for the Nascent Soul realm equivalence of his cultivation.

For the sake of his goals Yao Xieshen's determination to breakthrough to the 41st level of Qi Condensation is as high as the sun that floats in the heavens.
