Honorary Disciple, such a title is above even a Crowned Disciple. It means that the holder of the title stands above all other disciples within the sect, only beneath the elders in terms of status.

(What did I do to deserve this? Don't tell me they knew about my exploits from the ninth vault...)

The last line is meant in a definite sense as Long Xing He thought about the sect's deal with Xie Mo Xin. The prosperity of the sect truly did rest on Ye Gui Feng's shoulders.

"Understood!"

Ye Gui Feng replies strongly to Long Xing He while inwardly he is still confused about all this.

The celebration of Ye Gui Feng's return lasted for an entire day before it ended. In order to give an explanation behind Ye Gui Feng's sudden rise to the status of an Honorary Disciples Elder Shu and the four other elders told the other disciples that were gathered what had happened in the Nine Dragons' Vault.

The story was definitely exaggerated.

The deeds of Elder Shu killing five of the elders from the Heavenly Scriptures Sect is added onto Ye Gui Feng's achievements. The killing of another five elder figures from the Icy Winds Sect was piled on top of that. Finally to top it all off the feat of killing two Crowned Disciples.

This made everyone look towards Ye Gui Feng with reverence. There were even curious glances given to Xiao Ju Hong.

Some even looked quizzically at the black wings behind Ye Gui Feng's waist to which he explains that it has to do with his cultivation method.

Although Ye Gui Feng didn't know why the elders have chosen to exaggerate the stories he went along with it after Elder Shu gave him a look.

"Ugh..."

Giving out a groan Ye Gui Feng returns back to his cave and falls face flat onto his bed after sealing the entrance.

"So this is how it feels to be famous? It's terrible..."
