(Ah as I thought I really am going down the final boss route. I even got Yao Xieshen as my name here in the Yao family.)

Ye Gui Feng shakes his head while sighing.

"How has your cultivation of Xuè Shén Lǐngyù (血神领域 Translation: Blood God Domain) come along?"

"Ah? What's that?"

"The blood manipulation art that I gave you."

Ye Gui Feng takes out the plain looking scroll to which Yao Nie Tian nods.

"I thought this thing is something that's going out of style in the Yao family..."

"It's one of the strongest blood manipulation arts and won't lose to the Evil Blood Domain."

"Old man you giving me this means that you really think that well of me don't you?"

Naively Ye Gui Feng like he finally has a solid standing here in the Yao family and all of his future troubles will be worry free.

Ye Gui Feng thinks to himself that if he can get on the good side of an elder class figure of the Yao family then there might still be a chance for him to avoid his future troubles.

"..."

Yao Nie Tian gives Ye Gui Feng a strange look as the child puts on a naïve face while looking up at the ceiling as if his life is suddenly filled with happiness.

Ye Gui Feng can't help but be excited as his future seems brighter than ever. If he goes back like this then he didn't need to worry about his current situation with Xiao Ju Hong as much anymore considering how he is now officially a clansman of the Yao family too.

"Hmph don't look too excited. You're far too naïve if you want to think that your current status is anything high. I won't bother to help you unless it is something on the extremely messy side of things."

Having his positive thoughts so coldly slapped down like this makes Ye Gui Feng's lips twitch.

An alarm goes off in Ye Gui Feng's head upon hearing this. He imagines himself being able to raise thousands upon thousands of undead monsters with a single flick of his hand. When that happens who would dare to contend against him?

"But...?"

But reality brings Ye Gui Feng back to his senses.

"Heh but you must be within the top tens of the trial grounds' rankings or exchange it for... 10,000,000,000 merit points."

"That's impossible!"

Ye Gui Feng abruptly stands up upon hearing the number of merit points that he would need. It wasn't too surprising for such a technique to be worth so much but it was till far too much.

But with Ye Gui Feng's current cultivation base and his situation of not knowing how much time he has to remain here in this world he can't possibly hope to go through all of the trial grounds.
