Walking out of the bar's back Ye Gui Feng gets ready to leave after asking for directions on which way to go after making it onto land from the ship ride.

"Before you go take this."

"Hm?"

The owner gives Ye Gui Feng another jade slip.

"This contains the locations of all our bars. In case if you need more information."

"I see."

This will surely come in handy later down the line. Thanking the owner Ye Gui Feng takes his leave and makes his way through the slums to head for the ports.

"I just need to make it back to the sect. How hard can that be?"

Arriving at the port Ye Gui Feng quickly finds the ship that heads to the Moon and Stars Kingdom. He pays the charter fees and is allowed onto the ship.

On board the ship Ye Gui Feng finds himself at home within a small room. There was no bed instead one is expected sleep on a piece of cloth that's held up in the air by two rope ties.

"All the sects are merged into the Heavenly Pillar Sect..."

Ye Gui Feng thought about the Seven Rivers Sect and the friends that he had from back then...

"Will I see them on the battlefield?"

With a sigh Ye Gui Feng pulls himself onto the piece of cloth and soon falls asleep. In the midst of Ye Gui Feng's sleep the ship leaves Jin Zhou and takes off into sea.

There is still plenty of time before the war will begin after all the Heavenly Pillar Sect still hasn't finished their preparations.

"Nn..."

Not having Xiao Ju Hong around Ye Gui Feng didn't feel as comfortable in his sleep. It just wasn't as great as it could have been. But Ye Gui Feng wasn't willing to take Xiao Ju Hong out while on the ship.

The ocean during the night is quite rough causing many that are not used to sleeping on a ship to be awake throughout the night. Those that had it the worse are most definitely throwing up a bag full.

The next morning Ye Gui Feng wakes up while giving a loud yawn. He shakes his head and washes his face.

As it would take a week to reach the Moon and Stars Kingdom and in the midst of that time frame so Ye Gui Feng had nothing better to do.

In terms of cultivation that has completely grinded to a halt as Ye Gui Feng didn't dare to refine his magic energy into demonic energy in fear of having more voices inside of his head again.

For the time being Ye Gui Feng would only cultivate magic energy. The further he progresses in his cultivation the more magic energy he would need to make a breakthrough so for the time being he plans to simply accumulate magic energy.

Demonic energy serves as a part of the breakthrough equation but it mainly serves as a way to enhance Ye Gui Feng's usage of demonic arts.

"That old bitch..."

Just recalling Ling Zang Mu makes Ye Gui Feng gnashes his teeth in rage. But the Ice Demon Grand Magic is already in his hands.

"From what I know it's a way to manipulation ghosts as well. But can it shut their mouths?"

The second part of the manual given to Ye Gui Feng by Xie Mo Xin had detailed how to refine demonic energy from magic energy.

But it never mentioned the fact that Ye Gui Feng could become possessed by ghosts. It was most likely a byproduct of Ye Gui Feng's method of cultivation.

It wasn't until later that Ye Gui Feng managed to confirm his thoughts about this.

After looking through a few more pages Ye Gui Feng had found some mentioning of this body condition. It was called Guǐ Líng zhī Shēn (鬼灵之身 Translation: Ghostly Spirit Body).

It turns the physical body into a vessel for ghosts. Although this type of physique comes with the risk of being driven insane when a large quantity of ghosts enters the body it can be a means of self-defense in certain environments.

There is also the added bonus of using this physique to one's advantage in battle and this is something that Ye Gui Feng has first hand experience with.

To avoid being driven into insanity one would generally cultivate a method that allows them to manipulate the ghosts.

"If the Ice Demon Grand Magic is meant to manipulate ghosts to cause the temperatures to drop and freeze then maybe I can use it put a leash on these ghosts."

Considering how this is the legacy of an expert that's half a step into true immortality before death it should be quite powerful.

"Alright I'll cultivate it. But that bitch I'm still never forgiving."

Deciding that it was worth a try Ye Gui Feng puts all his efforts into cultivating the Ice Demon Grand Magic.

Nothing happened while out at sea as the trip passes by in a calm and peaceful manner.

Occasionally throughout the trip Ye Gui Feng would think that there might be a sea monster attack but to his surprise that didn't happen.

On the finally day the ship arrives onto land and all the passengers are told to get off.

As the large number of crew mates begin to load cargo off of the ship Ye Gui Feng steps out of his room and for the first time in a week his feet touches solid ground.

"Ah so this is Chàng Mén (唱门)."

Walking off the ship Ye Gui Feng looks towards the city. He is feeling quite excited to finally have a chance to stretch his legs.

Spending so much time onboard the ship has made Ye Gui Feng quite lethargic.

This entire city is a part of Lán Hé Zōng's (蓝河河 Translation: Blue River Sect) territory that stretches on for 15,000 kilometers. In the distance one can see a total of five mountain peaks. Each of these mountain peaks belong to a single faction of the Blue River Sect.

The reason the Blue River Sect is named what it is is due to the 15,000 meter long river that flows through the five mountains. This river contains dense magic energy that is extremely beneficial to practitioners.

Amongst all the sects in the Moon and Stars Kingdom the Blue River Sect occupies the spot that has the highest amount of magic energy flow.

"*Sigh* there's no time to look around I should get moving quickly."

Shaking his head to dismiss the thoughts of taking a tour Ye Gui Feng begins to head further into the city.

As Ye Gui Feng doesn't get out often from the sect making it back will prove to be difficult but not impossible.

"..."

Along the way Ye Gui Feng ran into many disciples of the Blue River Sect. They all wore a white set of robes with river blue patterns.

"Have you heard?"

"What?"

"Apparently some Honorary Disciple of the Burial Grounds Sect managed to offend all the other three major demonic sects."

"What how?"

"They call that guy the Ghost King. He apparently enjoys tormenting his victims with dead spirits. They say that if he doesn't torment at least one person a day he'd become a psychopath."

"That's just scary..."

Hearing news about his identity as the Ghost King makes Ye Gui Feng bite the bottom of his lips.

(Goddammit! Who made up these rumors? If they dare show up in front of me. I won't beat them to death but I will beat them an inch away from death!)

Knowing that all the other demonic sects are after him making Ye Gui Feng more wary of his surroundings.
