As the explosive pressure of a demonic family's bloodline is brought forth as the dog sized weasels tremble.

[He...!]

[Y-Yao family!]

The power of the Yao family's bloodline within Ye Gui Feng oppresses the demonic weasels as they take on a posture that is similar to a human kowtowing in front of a superior.

"Mm as expected of royal bloodlines."

Seeing how effective that had been Ye Gui Feng with a smug expression on his face lands with the Blood God Avatar still visible behind his back.

"Speak. Who is this Immortal Emperor of the Nine Daos?"

From amongst the demonic weasels a bigger bodied figure steps to the front. Unlike the other weasels that had dark fur this one has silver fur.

"Oh? You're the clan chief right?"

[Yes, I am called Yín Láng (银狼).]

Ye Gui Feng nods. He finds it somewhat strange to see a weasel standing up on its hind legs. With how stretchy their bodies are it wouldn't be too strange to see them capable of extending their bodies by another two meters or so.

[Honestly speaking most of what we know are from our old ancestors. This Immortal Emperor of the Nine Daos is said to have ultimately mastered a total of nine Daos in his cultivation. This gave him the rights to control the entirety of the heavens and control the things that practitioners would often refer to as Tribulations.]

"Ah? This..."

[It is also him that set the laws that we, demonic beasts or anything related to demons in general are not allowed to obtain immortality.]

Ye Gui Feng suddenly feels like he has finally found a link to something of a god level existence within this world.

This Immortal Emperor of the Nine Daos is most likely the same person who had transported his soul to reincarnate in this world.

[Lord if you head to the main part of this graveyard you can most likely find out more.]

"I would but it's being heavily watched. I decided to look for your clan to help me dig a tunnel that leads right to the portal."

[This...]

"Don't worry I won't cheap out on you. As someone that has a Heavenly Demon physique we're quite similar. I've experienced a Lightning Tribulation of 27 bolts because of this."

[Ah?]

This time it was the demonic weasels that are shocked.

"To repay you all I'll figure out a way to bring you and your clan out of this realm."

Ye Gui Feng won't go as far as to claim that he will take down the Immortal Emperor of the Nine Daos as he has no confidence in doing that.

But since one is allowed to take treasures out of this land then it shouldn't be possible to bring some wild beasts away as well.

[If you can truly bring us out of this realm then we are eternally grateful.]

The demonic weasels are more receptive towards Ye Gui Feng due to his Heavenly Demon physique but there is also the added bonus of him having the Yao family bloodline.

There is a primal level instinct to offer worship towards those of the Yao family due to Yao Zhen Tian's past deeds of recruiting demons to serve as his family generals. During that time demons were still able to obtain immortality without any issues from the laws of heaven.

[All of you come out!]

At the clan chief of the Earth Devouring Weasel's calling 300 more weasels popped out of the ground.

[We have a total of 500 clansmen. Where shall we dig?]

"Keep digging northeast."

*BOOM!* 20 weasels pounced onto a spot of the hard grounds and their claws easily tore apart the earth.

It didn't take long for a giant hole to be dug open as it continues to extend onwards in the form of an underground tunnel.

Ye Gui Feng leaps into the hole with Yin Lang. Continuing along the two walks side by side as the weasel's clansmen quickly dig in the direction of northeast.

(Honestly that is just scary...)

The speed at which these demonic beasts are capable of digging away at the earth is quite amazing.

Their stomachs are like a bottomless black hole as they eat away the earth itself, hence their name.

Their claws and fangs are harder than even a magic treasure and this allows them to readily rip out the flesh of other practitioners.

"Yin Lang do you have any ideas on how I can take you and your clan away from this realm?"

Ye Gui Feng didn't bother to hide his lack of abilities as he asks this question.

[Lord you really are quite different. Other people in your shoes would put up a confident front and think to trick us.]

Those kinds of people had been somewhat common in the past but their fates had always been a misfortunate tale.

"I keep my promises or try my best to do so. If I can't help you all right now then I'll have to delay this matter. Although... *Sigh* as someone cut off from the normal means of cultivation that's connected to the heavens my lifespan is only that of a mortal's."

[Indeed and I understand that we are taking a gamble in aiding you. But if you can truly open the main part of this graveyard then there is perhaps hope for us all.]

"You call this place a graveyard but the outside world sees it as a battlefield so what events took place here?"

[According to our ancestors a million years or so back practitioners from the Soul Separation realm to the Paragon Immortal realm had all fought here. Even that Immortal Emperor of the Nine Daos did as well.]

"What or who did they fight against?"

[A single entity that... Some say it was a god. The name that our ancestors used to call this land is Fǎnpàn Mùdì (反叛墓地 Translation: Graveyard of the Rebels).]

"A rebellion against god?"

Even Paragon Immortals fought in this war alongside the Immortal Emperor of the Nine Daos... Ye Gui Feng can only imagine how powerful this god would have to have been in order to fight such a powerful force of enemies alone.

[Regardless we have no real clue as to what really happened since it all occurred so long ago. Our clan and various other species aided the humans in that battle but as you can see...]

They were betrayed and imprisoned within this realm by the Immortal Emperor of the Nine Daos.

(Was there a reason for them to have imprisoned the weasels? And this god character...)

With a hand to his chin Ye Gui Feng continues to move forward while thinking about what could possibly be in the main part of this graveyard.

[If the ancestors are right then within the main part of this graveyard in the central ruins is a treasure that will allow you to bring us out.]

"Oh?"

[If that doesn't work there is always the method of a blood contract.]

The thought of being able to have 500 demonic weasels to do his bidding made Ye Gui Feng inwardly smile but he would not have the funds to feed them all so he would most probably be forced to relinquish the contract upon getting out of this place.

"I suppose we'll see."
