I’m not completely happy with this one and I don’t know where it’s going but here’s Chapter 12. It’s a kind of filler.

It's kind of funny... I hope. :P Cheers.

[Cass’s P.O.V]

Around six o’clock, Dean insisted on taking me out to dinner. Chase was invited but refused on the grounds that he had work to do since he had left it early yesterday and today.

Dean and I got on his bike and we headed to Roxy's. We got a booth in the corner of the diner and sat facing each other.

"Have you had the steak here?" Dean asked me while we were looking at the menus.

I shook my head.

"You have to try it. It's even better than the cheeseburger."

I looked at him in disbelief, "You lie! That's impossible."

"Try it."

"Fine."

At that moment, a waitress showed up. She must've been around twenty, and she had blonde hair in a messy bun. The uniform hugged her figure perfectly if not a little too tightly.

"Hi. I'm Kristy and I’ll be your sever tonight. What can I get you to drink?"

Dean didn't even look up from his menu to say, "Soda. Preferably Coke."

"Just water thanks."

She brought our drinks, giving me a condescending look before asking what we'd like to eat.

While asking, she leaned forward just a bit to call more attention to her ample chest. I rolled my eyes and glanced at Dean to see him looking at me instead of her.

"The steak?"

I nodded. I was starving. I hadn't felt properly hungry in a while.

"Alright, two of Roxy's Steak specials with mashed potatoes."

She wrote it down after giving me a judgmental look. She was definitely wondering how a girl could possibly eat that much. She actually looked like someone I knew but I couldn't place who.

She looked back at Dean, "Anything else I can get you? Like my number?"

I almost spat out my water at her shameless flirting but he barely glanced at her. "Just our food. I don't want your number and I'm pretty sure she" -he indicated me - "wouldn't want it either."

She flushed angrily and stalked away after declaring that our food would be ready in twenty minutes. I chuckled and Dean looked up at me, “What?”

“I get the feeling no one turns her offers down.”

He shrugged indifferently, “I wasn't interested."

I nodded and we made mindless conversation until Kristy showed up to serve our drinks. She still looked a bit red as she slammed my glass of water on the table in front of me spilling just a little bit on the table.

"Someone has issues." I muttered under my breath.

Dean heard and sent me a smile. Apparently, he wasn't the only one who heard me. Kristy's nostrils flared up as she sent me a glare, "What did you say?"

I was about to sass her when Dean beat me to it, "I believe she implied that you had a problem being rejected."

"Well now, I didn't say that."

"Didn't you?" He challenged me.

"Of course I did. She clearly does but what I’m saying is that I wasn’t implying it just now."
