Annabeth's POV

As Piper walked down the aisle, I grew confused. Where was Aphrodite? Why is Piper not glowing pink? I thought for sure she would get the blessing. After all, it is her wedding day. I glanced at Percy who quickly turned red and turned his his head away like he had been staring at me.

The wedding went by quickly, with Piper and Jason saying their short and sweet vows. The wedding was planned to be very short because of all the ADHD demigods in the audience. The wedding flowed smoothly into the after party.

"Annabeth!" Hazel yelled. I turned. Hazel was smiling. "Percy wants you." She smiled even more, and then rushed off to greet Frank, who was calling her over. I walked over to Percy, who just smiled.

"You called, seaweed brain?"

"Yes... Um, will you dance with me?" He nervously asked.

"Is that the only reason you called me over?" I raised an eyebrow. I knew him too well.

"Yes... Well, no actually. I wanted to talk to you about what we were talking about earlier." I bit my lip. This time I don't think Aphrodite will help me with what to say.

"Okay Percy. Let's talk about this somewhere else. Too many people here." I said. Percy grabbed my hand and led us out of the crowd and into the big house. Once we were by the ping-pong table, Percy began to speak.

"I heard Frank and Hazel did it too," He said. My jaw dropped. "We're the only couple who hasn't! I want to but I don't know if you are ready, but if you are, let's do it tonight!" He rushed. I smiled. It was just like when he first told me he liked me. He was so nervous.

"Tonight then, after the wedding." I said. Percy grinned.

"Okay wise girl, I intend on doing you tonight!" Percy said with excitement. I swatted his arm playfully.

"Percy!" I scolded.

"What?" He said with mock innocence. I just laughed.

"In the meantime, I would like a dance with my wise girl." Percy bowed, pretending to be a prince.I blushed.

"Absolutely." I said. The minute after I said those words a figure popped up in front of me. Percy's face turned white.

"Athena." He gulped.

"Yes and don't think I didn't hear your conversation! I don't approve!" Athena crossed her arms. Percy gained his confidence, straightening his shoulders.

"So?" He challenged. "I love her, and that's what matters." He spoke boldly. Athena scowled.

"Puny demigod, I am one of the most important Greek goddesses of all time!" She roared.

"Uh, mother?" I intervened. "Why were you listening to our conversations?" I raised an eyebrow. Athena smiled. I blinked, and Athena was gone. In her place stood Aphrodite.

"Oh, you're too smart my precious! At least Percy didn't figure it out. That was a test sillies! I did the same for Jason before he proposed! Percy passed!" Aphrodite smiled knowingly. Percy looked at Aphrodite a bit angrily.

"Oh dears! I've given something away, haven't I? Oopsy-daisy!" And with that Aphrodite was gone. When I turned back around, Percy was on one knee.
