Annabeth's POV

After telling my mother about the babies, it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.

"Well," I said. "That went better than I thought it would." Percy nodded.

"So," Percy said. "What do you want to do now that that's over with?"

"I was thinking of going to get a checkup. You know, to make sure the babies are happy and healthy." I responded.

"Good idea." He agreed.

===========================

"Hey Phoebe." Percy said. Phoebe turned.

"Hey guys!" She said perkily. "What can I do for you?"

"We just wanted to make sure the babies are happy and healthy." I told her.

"Okay! You know which room- I'll be there in a few minutes, someone fell from the climbing wall and broke a few bones, so it might take a while."

"Thanks." Percy smiled, leading me down the hall toward our room. Once Percy closed the door he backed me up against the wall.

"Percy," I scolded. "We're in public!"

"Not technically," He whispered. "We have the room all to ourselves." He crashed his lips onto mine, pushing his tongue into my mouth. I tangled my tongue against his with just as much force. His hands reached for the hem of my shirt, and he pulled it right off. Suddenly, the door swung open.

"Chiron!" I shrieked, reaching for my shirt. Percy just grinned.

"Ah-sorry, I'll give you two a moment to... freshen up." Chiron said awkwardly. He closed the door again. I walked over to the corner of the room where Percy flung my shirt. He smacked my butt when I walked past him. I yelped.

"Percy!" I complained.

"Lookin' good wise girl." He grinned. My cheeks turned red. Chiron knocked again on the door.

"May I come in now?" He asked.

"Yes Chiron." I told him, glaring at Percy and giving him my best no-funny-business-while-Chiron's-around look. The door creaked open.

"What's up?" Percy asked.

"I was wondering if we were still planning on telling the camp about your pregnancy at the campfire tonight." He asked. I nodded.

"That was the plan." I told him.

"Wait a minute; How come I didn't hear about this?" Percy asked, confused. I blinked in surprise.

"Sorry," I told him. "I must have forgotten to tell you."

"Tell me what?"

"I asked Chiron if he would tell the camp that I was pregnant at the camp fire tonight." Percy's shoulders relaxed.

"Oh," He said, relieved. "That's all?" I nodded. Phoebe's head popped in.

"Are you guys ready?" She asked, glancing at Chiron talking to us.

"Yes Phoebe, I was just finishing up talking to them. You may proceed." He said to her. Chiron trotted out of the room.

"What do you need me to do?" I asked Phoebe.

"Just lie down right on that bed." She told me. I was struggling to get on the bed since there were no steps and I felt clumsier then usual today, so Percy picked me up bridal style and plopped me on the bed.

"I am perfectly capable of getting on a bed." I grumbled. Phoebe handed me the x-Ray blanket and Percy placed it over my body for me. She pressed a few buttons on her tablet and then handed it to me.

"This is where the babies are attached to you and where they are in your stomach." She said, pointing to parts of the screen and my stomach.

"But are they healthy?" Percy asked.

"Yes, they are in perfect health." I sighed.

"Thank you." I smiled at her.

"No problem." She responded back.

============================

"Are you ready to tell them?" Percy asked me, squeezing my hand and leading me toward the camp fire.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I said, looking into his eyes.

"Then come on," He said, grinning. "We have a secret to share."
