Percy's POV

I was heading out toward the big house to go see if Annabeth was finished with her lessons when Chiron stopped me.

"Percy," said Chiron. "Annabeth is out shopping for wedding dresses with Hazel and Piper."

"Oh." I said glumly. Not what was I going to do? I decided to go visit Leo at the forges since Jason and Frank were teaching their classes and Leo always complains about how nothing ever happens at the forges, which is totally not true. The other day, Leo accidentally set the place on fire and had to put the fire out using a sprinkler.

"Hey Leo." I said once I got to the forges.

"Percy! What's up?"

"Eh, nothing much. Annabeth's out shopping with the girls so I thought I'd drop by and see if there is anything I can help with."

"Sorry Percy. I just finished the last sword I was supposed to make." I sighed.

"Darn. I have nothing to do."

"I guess you could come with me. I'm going back to the house to see Calypso."

"Are you sure? I don't want to bother you guys."

"Nah, it's fine. We should probably all talk to each other anyways." I turned red.

"Uh," I stammered. "What do you mean?"

"Percy, you know what I mean. It's going to keep being awkward if we all don't talk about it."

"Okay," I agreed. "But what's there to talk about?"

"Maybe the fact that you ditched her for Annabeth and she loved you." Leo said in an accusatory tone.

"That's not fair! I didn't really have much of a choice! It was either let all your friends die because of Kronos or stay there planting a garden!" Leo sighed.

"I didn't mean it that way, but we should still all talk." I let out an exasperated sigh.

"Fine." I agreed.

"Come on then, let's head back to the house."

===========================

"Calypso?" Leo called. "We have something to talk about."

"Hold on Leo, I just need to finish planting this tulip," Calypso called back. "This house will soon have a wonderful garden."

"Okay Calypso. Meet us in the kitchen once you're done." Leo responded. A few minutes later, Calypso walked into the room with her hair tied back in a messy bun and in a pair of gardener's overalls. Calypso wiped the dirt off her fingers on her overalls.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Calypso," I began. "I know we were once in love, and I chose to leave you for Annabeth. But that doesn't mean we can't be friends. Sure, it's going to be a complicated relationship but we can still be friendly to each other."

"Yes Percy, I know that. We both have our companions. It is time we move past your time on Ogygia. So, yes Percy. Let us be friends," Calypso smiled at me like I had just sunk the Titanic. "And no harsh feelings. I forgive you."
I had the slightest feeling Calypso was still hurt and angry at me, but I brushed it off. Besides, why would she still be hurt and angry after all this time? I mean, I kinda had to save the world at the time so I really couldn't have stayed. Girls. They make no sense. We sat there for a moment, not knowing what to say or do.

"Ok," Leo said, breaking the silence. "Cool. So who wants a sandwich? I'm starving."
