* PLEASE!! They can be great wells for Clan lore, history, and a reason why younger characters act the way they do. Elders are seen as a chore and a burden on Clan life, and if you give them nothing but an annoying personality that grouches and whines, it will come across like that! Veteran elders that help advise leaders during difficult situations, retired medicine cats that step up for the current one, elders that spend time in the nursery or take walks around the immediate area or recite Clan folklore, hell, the strained relationship between an abusive elder and their grown child, where the child must respect them via the code while the elder has still never apologized.
