Back to love triangle with a she-cat, this is a cliché in many stories past warriors.
Either the strong, burly guy or the sweet and kind-hearted one.
* Yeah, traditional love triangles are kinda exhausted. She-cat goes with the ""right"" choice of the kind tom, and she gets unfairly blamed for any drama that happens. There's some wiggle room with love triangles:
1. they all remain platonic and friendly with each other
2. the two tomcats don't hate each other or cause any public drama
3. they all get together
4. for the love of god, both of the tomcats aren't bad options because sometimes people write the most borderline abusive/manipulative love interests
And so on and so forth. This all applies for the opposite genders too.
