The characters who serve no other purpose but to fill up space.

* I'm like 100% sure I mention this later on, but this is my biggest problem with Clans that have a truckload of characters. Sometimes I'll see allegiances with just a text wall's worth of warriors and feel my interest die. I know I'm not gonna care for half of these characters, and attempting to give them all unique personalities will just add padding to the story. I hate to say it, but sometimes you need to cut some of your characters, no matter how pretty their names or interesting their designs. If you can't describe their personality beyond 3 sentences, they don't matter that much. It just makes the reader's minds more cluttered trying to memorize names and appearances.
If you want to show that a Clan is big and strong, you can
1. Make the other Clans even smaller
2. Show their strength through their attitudes; the more secure they feel, the more comfortable, lax, and cocky they are
3. Literally just explain in-universe that like 20 cats is more than usual
